I LOVE The Funhouse, one of my favorite Hooper films. I don't consider it a slasher, it's a monster movie. I agree with just about everything you said about it though, characters, atmosphere and cinematography.

I'm seeing some listings get changed to half price. Like Terror Train, The Thing...

Maybe Sony has been secretly making a 4K remaster of that classic and could possibly release a 4K UHD next year.

That sure as hell would be worth the wait.

This isn't even a sale. SHAME!

Seriously though, I was waiting for the sale all week and now I think I'm just gonna go for a few titles from Best Buy and the Kino sale.

We're supposed to get an update for Hell Night this month; I figure this Friday the 13th is as good a time as any. Hopefully there will also be more good announcements

I think they said more new title announcements on Halloween, but we could get some updates on previously announced titles on Friday the 13th, like Hell Night.

In my day, you could buy sale movies for a nickel! Seriously though, what gives? A few years back I built the foundation of my Shout Factory movies off one of their sales. Probably ordered 20 movies in one shot. The past couple haven't even phased me and the worst part is finally our Canadian dollar has come around to make it slightly more appealing.

Yea, I bought seven movies (I think?) on that sale. This one doesn't have anything that I wan't, at a cheap enough sale price to purchase.

Tell me about it, the two films I had in my cart turned out to be cheaper to order on Amazon.ca than from the sale

I'll echo what's already been said. Their annual "Shocktober" sale has declined the past couple of years. I'm sure it's due to the rising costs of their product but still, you have ONE sale a year. You gotta make it count or people will stop caring.

They don't just have one sale per year.

I think he was saying they should have one sale a year and make it a good one otherwise people will not care if they do these awful "sales" for various holidays like Halloween and Valentine's Day, the Summer sale, etc.
