Me too, having helped out a little on the releases I know some of what to expect and am getting mighty anxious!

That's great you liked the first set. Spanish horror films from this period have a unique charm, and Naschy made more of them than anybody as well as some of the best.

Vol 2 is similar in that it features a variety of genres. A possession film, a werewolf film, a hunchback / mad doctor flick, another giallo....something for everyone.

give it a few minutes... you may for a second think it looks like all the other transfers but as you get into the film you're going to notice that the clarity and color is far superior to all other blu ray releases. I was ultimately glad that I went to the well yet another time and bought this release!

In a not-very-inspired move, I upgraded Killer Klowns during a mini Best Buy shopping spree for $6.99.

What are the odds this one sees a Scream release? And could it be much improved upon? The current edition is pretty loaded as far as features good. How's the PQ and Audio on the current Blu-ray? I already purchased this years ago as a DVD so I really don't feel like buying it 3x...it doesn't deserve that much love.

It'll see a release from either Arrow or Scream. Arrow is rumored to be releasing a new 4K scan, but it remains to be seen if it'll be US/UK or just UK.

The Shout Sale at BestBuy is exactly what shout factory themselves should have offered. I picked up Lawnmower Man immediately and snagged Carrie last night. There are a few other titles I'd like but given that they are all double dips it's a bit hard to justify too many at one time. I've already got The New York Ripper and The Dorm that Dripped Blood in my mailbox at home as I type this ordered from Best Buy over the weekend, Demon Wind coming tomorrow, Rawhead Rex coming tomorrow, Suspiria coming god knows when, Slaughter High in 2 weeks, and now Carrie as well. It's getting hard to track what I have all on order these days since so many things are in various levels of delivery. I'm really hoping the sale lasts until the end of the month though... I'd love to snag at least 1 or 2 more titles next pay period.

Just watched Bad Dreams for the first time (picked up the combo pack a week ago). It's pretty solid, I really like Jennifer Rubin in it, but suppose it is a little derivative. Interesting cast interviews! To hear Jennifer say she doesn't think she can act (she's more than capable IMO) and that they intended this to be a smash/launch a franchise is... surprising.

There's a deal where you can choose store pick up instead of shipping, and it saves you a dollar per item (but it won't always be the closest one), so maybe you saw people referencing that deal.
