I love Shout Factory and I'm about to drop a good $200 at Bestbuy, but I have officially quit on slipcovers. Lol!

I would drive all over the place to find mint covers which is impossible since they are always damaged in some way.

Anybody else wish Shout Factory would just stop on the slipcovers?

I just wish they would be more competitive in pricing. Even their sales suck because it's mostly just on sale for what like best buy normally sells them for and I'll buy from best buy to earn credit card rewards and best buy reward points. Hell rawhead rex is a brand new release with extras and a slip and it's 20 dollars. I hadn't bought quite a few scream factory movies because they weren't worth more than 20 to me.

But in general I don't care about slips, soundtrack ads, or anything extra. I'd rather not have it and pay less for the movie.

I just watched The Howling last night. Such a fun werewolf movie that gets better with each viewing for me. Not on par with An American Werewolf in London and the highly underrated Silver Bullet but still very good. The werewolf genre in general is very underrated for some reason. I wish there were more

Picked up my copies of Dawn/Land Of The Dead from the post office today, both with mint posters and almost mint slips (Land's was ever-so-slightly dented on one side of the bottom, but hardly a deal-breaker). Posters have already been framed, and awaiting wall space when I determine where they're gonna go.

Watched (barely made it through) Visiting Hours last night. What an awful, boring, and unsatisfying watch. I almost gave up on it halfway through, but managed to stick it out. All in all, despite Bad Dreams being a good little flick, I would not recommend this combo pack to a blind-buyer like myself! Live and learn.

Pumpkinhead now $13.99 @ Amazon.

A blind buy for me last year that I've become a huge fan of.

This has probably been brought up, but I can't understand why SF doesn't do more box sets. How about Psycho or Sleepaway Camp? They've got all the movies.

I know, right. A Species set just re-packaging parts 2-4 with the original - or the same with Darkman - was a perfect opportunity. A new Sleepaway Camp set would have been awesome. Seems like they'd rather stretch things out in the interest of sales/revenue but personally I'd spend the same money or more on a well packaged box set

SF doesn’t have the original Psycho. Universal is releasing them all in a boxset next month though, just without the SF special features.

In many cases, they don’t do boxsets because they get the rights to the films in a series at different times, usually a year or more apart. IIRC in the case of Sleepaway Camp, they wanted to wait to see how it sold before releasing the sequels. Current sales of physical media sales have all of the studios cautious about what to release.

Just ordered again from Best Buy. Added Howling, Pumpkinhead, Psycho II, and People/Stairs. That's 15 total just from this sale! I love it....but now I'm completely broke

Today I went to my local BB to inquire about the Scream Factory sale in store (those prices are too good to be true), and saw the SF Teen Wolf BD at 24.99 thinking it was a mistake (since that BB is scatterbrained with prices on whats on sale and what isn't). Turned out that the sale was online and I figured they wouldn't budge on the price, but the manager got all desperate as shit and price matched what was on the website, and I walked out with TW for far less than what Amazon would be!

In my experience, online and instore prices are the same, regardless of what is printed on the shelf. The discount is taken off at checkout.

Not exactly, the manager at my store said some sales are on BB.com only and they normally do not price match from their website. However, that store was kinda empty and I imagine he was desperate for some kind of sale so he PM'd anyway.

I would love if SCREAM FACTORY put out on BLURAY mu favorite cheesy B-movie of all time....AND THAT IS 1981's SATURDAY THE 14TH....starring RICHARD BENJAMIN and PAULA PRENTISS....I always had a fascination with this movie since I saw it in theaters in 1981 when I was 7 years old....it brings back great childhood memories.

Technically yes, but it's extremely rare, especially these days.
