Scream Factory would be awesome!!!
Candyman is hopefully coming from Sony if their recent release of 976-EVIL is a prelude to bigger things.

And they did release their first (?) New Line WAC title recently, The Hidden, so Critters is certainly possible. I'd like a double-feature disc with Critters 1 and 2.

Yes, I hope the release of The Hidden means there's more classic New Line titles coming. I would love more horror/sci-fi fare like Critters and Xtro as well as 90's selections like House Party and Pump Up the Volume.

If you're region-free, there's a UK SE of Xtro coming in March from Second Sight.

I’m all for Candyman since they did Farewell to the Flesh, then I can it them both at once.

I've always loved movies about bad things that happen to people while they're camping in the woods.

This one looks pretty intriguing, and it also looks like a possible Scream Factory candidate.

Scream releases a lot of newer IFC films, so I'm wondering if Desolation will be one of their titles for next year.

That kid is such a goner.

Okay, probably not, but it does look to be an intense movie.

No, they only started shipping them Friday night, and they're being sent First Class, not Priority, so it should be another couple of days yet (at least).

Cover art and date for Scream Factory's upcoming Blu of Bryan Bertino's THE STRANGERS (2008):

Quote:
**THE STRANGERS Update & Artwork Reveal **

At Comic-Con this year we announced that a 10th anniversary Blu-ray of the home-invasion blockbuster would be coming soon from us and today we have some more exciting information on it to share with you today!

• Official street date is March 6th, 2018--just ahead of the next film Strangers: They Prey at Night, which opens up in theaters on March 9th.

• This is a 2-Disc set that will contain both the theatrical and unrated versions of the film. It will be branded as a “Collector’s Edition” that will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date). U.S. and Canada territories (Region A).

• The newly-commissioned artwork pictured comes to us from the CRP Group (Firestarter, Rabid, Species, Drag Me to Hell). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will be a cool variant from the original theatrical exploration. (See below in the comments for visual)

• Extras and specs are still in progress and will be announced at a later date. However, we can confirm today that we will be doing a brand new film transfers

Pre-order now directly from our website @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=6621 to get the product two weeks early from national street date plus you’ll receive a free collectible 18” x 24” rolled poster of the newly-designed key art (while supplies last)

We should also be getting Leslie Vernon and Nightmare at Noon in March, along with a couple of others hopefully. Once those two are announced, there will be no unscheduled titles, aside from the uncertain Piranha II.

The Strangers is one of the few recent horror films that got under my skin. Here's looking forward to March!

I LOVED The Strangers when I saw it in theaters, but it's one of those whose effectiveness has waned significantly for me with repeat viewings. And some of the stuff, like "You're going to die" comes off as more cheesy to me than chilling.

But being a cabin fanatic, The Strangers hits the right notes more often than not.

Unsure if I'm going to upgrade from my DVD though. Perhaps in a sale down the road.

Isn't The Strangers a remake of the French film Them (ils)?

Have to say that I found The Strangers pretty unremarkable, IMO.

I can usually get by the incredibly stupid moves that the characters are made to do in horror films, however, I found that the ridiculous decisions by the victims in this film put me completely out of the story.

Although there seems to be plenty of fans for this film, I'm passing on this one.
