I find it unlikely, too, but someone mentioned it so with the thought in my head made me excited. I'd be happy with anyone releasing them but SF would do the best job

Im curious about the scifi 4 pack he was mentioned. Im stumped on the box set of horror movies, unless theyve been announced as singles earlier and are part of a set. Its not Hammer films, its not Howling, Phantasm or Psycho sequels or Halloween
Childs Play? Children of the Corn ? Leprechaun ? a set of Universal movies with no theme ? a set of MGM Midnite movies ?
It would be cool if it was the Gamera movies in HD
whatever it is , I hope its something I want.
Maybe its another classic set - Susan Hart AIP titles ???? How awesome would that be

After interviewing Cliff about a variety of topics, we've discussed plenty of things over the last few months. I've always appreciated his willingness to be open with me so with that I always want to be respectful and not leak any info. Trust me though guys, Scream Factory is just getting started. There's so much great stuff planned for this year as well as so many great cult titles through Shout Factory themselves. Remember how Cliff has mentioned that it'd be wise for us to take up second jobs to just afford this year?... Yeah, he's really not kidding about that

If you won't spill the beans, quit your yappin about knowing everything we don't know!

It only makes the pain sting that much more.

I appreciate you watching me on Youtube, it's fun for me to keep up with so it's always nice to hear people enjoying my channel. You can buy that Shout Factory shirt through their official website, it comes in black or white.

I think it's safe to assume that Scream Factory aren't going to closing up shop anytime soon. The fact is that we as the consumers have the ultimate power, as long as we keep buying and supporting their products, the more titles we are likely to see.

Let's hope so. BluUnderground was great! Now I seen shit from them and they only released like 20 films and still films are MIA from the dvd line. I love what Shout/scream are doing from new art to extras (like Arrow). Lets hope we see them from years to come.

My apologies haha it's bittersweet knowing what I do because on one hand, I'm obviously a huge fan like everyone here and I want to blab all about it but on the other it's nice knowing what's coming ahead of a time because my Shout Factory bias aside, I can tell you that you shouldn't have any worries about future titles because they will certainly please many of us.

Yeah, it's a shame that Blue Underground hasn't been putting much out aside from DVD re-releases. I remember I sat in with Bill Lustig during a QC session for the "Zombie" Blu-ray and I was trying to sway him into getting more involved with the fans through social media. This was obviously before Scream Factory came along and made Friday announcements and just the overall interaction and updates with the fans so exciting. Bill is an incredibly talented guy and really impressed me with his attention to detail in the QC for his titles. I can't help but feel that if they became a little more involved with their consumers and got a stronger hold of exactly what titles people were hoping for, we would still be seeing a steadier output of Blu-ray releases from them. Although, it seems like they do have more titles on the way this year so time will tell exactly what we'll be getting. I really enjoyed their release for "The Nesting" so I hope they can get back to giving us brand-new titles like that one on the format.

For those that have ordered through the Shout Factory web site, how do they package your Scream Factory blu-rays for shipment (i.e. do they just use a plastic mylar bag, a bubble envelope, or do they wrap them nice and securely with bubble wrap and place them securely in a well protected box )?

Once upon a time, yes, but they took some major critical hits last year for those awful-looking LVR transfers.

Yeah, that's definitely true, but I always felt their hits always outweighed their misfires. I just hope with the promise of new titles this year that Blue Underground comes back with a punch.

Same here, although I don't hold out much hope. Did Cliff or anyone else at Shout ever mention any Corman films? I'd really love for the box to be a Corman/Poe/Price set, but that seems highly unlikely.

Is there any chance that you'll be working with MGM again, and maybe pick these up among others?
I'm sorry it hurt.
We can't release everything. We have enough films to last us through first quarter 2014.
