This seems to be the rarest slipcover I've encountered in my Scream collecting days. Even harder to find than Sleepaway 1!

Was Sleepaway 1 hard to find? I have that one and I got it quite a while after it was released. Don't have a Lake Placid though.

I love his classic Jaws: The Revenge response when asked what he thought of the movie. "I haven't seen it, but I love the house it bought me."

As to your question, you may be right but I submit a few candidates:

Richard Burton
Robert De Niro
Al Pacino
Christopher Walken

You can add Nicholas Cage to that list.

Not directly Scream Factory related, but many of you are in the know...

Every time I see talk about rare slips I seriously consider just setting up an auction for my complete (sans Nightbreed) set. One way or another they'd look uniform.

Oh, and, one hour after I heard the above news, I also learned that Mark E. Smith, the frontman of The Fall, passed away today as well.

Argh... No more obituaries today, I hope.

I agree. For me they're a bonus when I get them, but I'm not really too fussed if I don't have them. If someone is willing to pay a good amount I'd probably sell them. My shelves are a giant mess of steelbooks, slipcovers, no slipcovers, etc. With 4K, I've moved away from steelbooks altogether. Will probably sell off a few of the higher priced steelbooks I have as well. For me, it's more about the movie itself than the packaging.

I've never been huge on slipcovers, but the Scream Factory ones are so well-done that I'm attached to them.

I gave up on being a Scream slipcover completist, though, since my Blu-rays of Night of the Demons, From Beyond, Lake Placid, and one or two others are without them.

I take it as a blessing, since it cures my OCD-tendencies with regard to this hobby.

This place has pretty much any slip you could want, pricy, but can be a good ressource if a missing slip is really bothering you:

Neat! Thanks.

Do you know of such a site that has slips for DVDs? I would like slips for some of my Scream Factory IFC Midnight DVDs.

I was convinced I'd be missing one sooner or later so I started throwing them out. I've been buying them since the line started so I had a pretty good jump on collecting them, now every single one I get has a slip and now I regret it, and I started saving them just in case. I'll probably sell the lot of them someday

Today I did something that I rarely get to do... Today, January 24th 2018 I walked into a Best Buy and purchased 3 catalog Horror films (and one modern horror film) in person. Not only were they catalog films, but they were Scream Factory horror films, one of which 99% of the movie watching public has any knowledge of these days. I mention this not to brag, but merely to point out how rare of an occurrence this is in 2018. Most days I have any number of films on order/pre-order and being delivered to my home, but to be able to walk into a physical store and physically purchase a stack of horror films during any month other than September or October is reason to celebrate.

I had a dental appointment this afternoon so left work early. I decided to swing by Best Buy since I hadn't been in since early December. I was primarily interested in what stereo speakers they had in stock but as usual perused the films as well. Shockingly I found a copy of Hellnight on the shelf and that sort of set everything in motion. After deciding that I needed to purchase this film if for no other reason than because of the fact that it's not a film I would have expected to see on the shelves, I also ended up snagging Jeepers Creepers and Jeepers Creepers 2 since they were on sale still and I didn't suppose would ever get any cheaper (and still have slips) as well as Annabelle Creation for only $10. I was fortunate to have some gift cards waiting to be spent so the lot cost me $32 and change out of pocket.... and of course the most important part of this story.... all 4 films came with nice looking slipcovers.

Best Buy is also where I happened to pick up my copies of Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 awhile back also. I haven't been there since about December either myself but I should go back soon & see what they have. Last time I was there I went to pick up 2 movies & walked out with 5.
