Interesting to see Alice, Sweet Alice coming from 88 Films (they're touting a 'NEW (2018) 2K Scan and Restoration from Positive Elements'). I was under the impression Warner were undertaking their own restoration for the US, but perhaps Scream might step in and make use of this restoration? I'm curious to find out if the work was undertaken (and funded) entirely by 88 Films, or if someone else might have been involved.

Kino Lorber Insider (over on HTF) appears to confirm Shout do indeed have some kind of deal with Warner:

Warner has some real out there gems that could fit with the SF brand. I'd love to have a CE release of Nothing But Trouble, for example.

If the 88 Films' Alice Sweet Alice is going to be Region Free, Scream or Warner might want to announce their version sooner than later. Even if the actual release date is intended to be later in the year.

Home video artist Graham Humphreys teased his latest work today:

Could just be a private commission, or someone like Scream Factory have got the green light from Warner (finally!) to release it. Could be a release from Second Sight who released the first film in the UK.

So we can expect an Elm Street box from Scream next year for it's 35th anniversary? Or individual releases of the films?

Before It's Alive or Of Unknown Origin, have Shout released any Warner titles in any kind of limited/one-time deals? Just trying to decipher this mystery since Shout themselves aren't talking.

They released the theatrical cut of Nightbreed as part of the limited edition set when the rights were still with Warner..

Looks like a very similar design to what Scream Factory had for the first movie. Not a big fan of this one, but it'd be a huge get for those who like it.

Exorcist III also.

Unless the rights were back with Morgan Creek.

I'd say that art is almost certainly for a Scream release, given that Humphreys of course did the art for Scream's release of the first. Moreover, the film is with Warner too in the UK, so there's no way Second Sight could get it.

I did think the first Warner CE they do would be either this or Deadly Friend.

Trying to keep my expectations in check but I’m just imagining a Nightmare collection like the Halloween Collection.

They licensed a few titles for their Mystery Science Theater 3000 DVDs years ago, such as The Black Scorpion.

The House on Haunted Hill (1959) was another WB title that had been included in one of the Vincent Price collections.

I think it would be a box set at first and then individual releases down the line.

Oh, the possibilities of what could be done if Scream Factory gets the rights to do an "Elm Street" box set. The deleted scenes, the Encyclopedia disc from the original box updated for Blu, the making of special for "The Dream Master" on disc, the VHS informercials, etc etc etc.
