You know, thats what I'm pretty sure the box set is going to be,

I think it'll be the old mgm price films

The Gaff Group (TGG) also made a deal with MGM and they got almost all of the Corman-Poe movies and majority of the Vincent Price films.

But I'm sure Shout! got one or two, but it more than likely won't be the box set.
Although I'd love it if I were wrong.

I think the ones left over from the TGG deal we're "The Pit and the Pendulum" and "The Raven" among a few others.

Where did you order from that shipped it early? Does Scream Factory ship out orders in advance so that new releases arrive before the release date?

Yeah, I saw your earlier post, but in an interview he did say he got some Price titles, so probably the ones you said and maybe an extra 1 or 2

I think these are all of the Hammer Films on Blu-ray in North America:

Twins of Evil (Synapse)
Vampire Circus (Synapse)
The Man Who Could Cheat Death (Legend Films) [a 2-pack with "The Skull"]
Hands of the Ripper (coming soon from Synapse)
Countess Dracula (coming soon from Synapse)
The Vampire Lovers (coming soon from Shout! Factory)

If there are any that have been announced or have already been released can you let me know? I'm trying to make sure I have all that aravaliable.

For what it is worth I have both Deadly Blessing and The Seven Per-Cent Solution coming on Blu for delivery Tuesday. To be honest not looking forward to Deadly Blessing it looks bad lol but I wanted it none the less. Same could be said for Prom Night II I kind of want to relive my old 80's video store rental days. I'm 35 now but I recall being young at the time Prom Night II was released however I never rented it but a local video store had this kind of big standee for the film if I recall. Those were big in those days. At any rate I kind of like collecting B grade horror films. This is NO offense to any releases.

Burnt Offerings is the one title I wish someone could release from MGM. It really deserves a good HD blu. Great cast, Creppy score... oh yeah and DAN CURTIS!

By the way is Electric Dreams even being asked for by any of the distributors? I know two people + me who want this one intact on BLU badly.

P.S. Someone does need to release those Bronson films esp. The Mechanic! It is a classic. I can watch the opening of the film over and over. (yet I know Bronson titles were shot down.)

I can tell you that you have a lot of Warner and Paramount titles. Those we'll never get.

Zbinks mentioned in his list there many great titles but when he mentioned Charles Bronson flicks that made me think WOW I can't believe how many great Bronson titles there are and very very very few on them have received HD treatment. I was just watching 10 to midnight the other night...love that movie.

"Anyone who does something like this, his knife has got to be his penis" classic!

Yeah I can't believe they haven't put Death Wish out yet, I mean that is just baffling

Certainly seems possible due to the MGM deal. Time will tell though

Well, if Paramount didn't part with it for the next years for WB to distribute, it would be nice if they finally got around to it this year. It'd be even sweeter if they finally released "The Addams Family" films on Blu-ray while they were at it too.

It's really sad that Shout didn't scoop up New Year's Evil or Squirm--two titles that I'd love to see on blu.

And I seriously hope that Shout and Lionsgate can work out a deal sometime in the future. Chopping Mall Collector's Edition in glorious HD. Make the world a better place, Cliff!!

Without getting too ahead of ourselves, Lionsgate is definitely the next library of titles I'd love Shout to get carte blanche on. The body of cult and horror titles collecting dust from them is staggering.

These are supposedly coming this year assuming their plans haven't changed.
