Ah yes i saw that in theaters as a kid, that would make a good release since it never had a BD.

The It's Alive Trilogy has shipped; I should get it in the mail today. Very interested to see the look on this Blu-ray premiere. Anyone else preorder it from SF?

I ordered from Amazon for a low price of 33 bucks.

I'm wondering if they might consider Hannibal and Red Dragon in CE BDs since they got Manhunter?

Really stoked about the It's Alive trilogy coming to Blu-ray from Scream Factory. These would've (probably) ended up on Warner Archive MOD discs 3 years apart and without extras. Feels like my collection just got that more complete.

I've toned down a lot of my ordering direct from Scream Factory, but I know I have Body of Evidence, Of Unknown Origin, and Wild at Heart also locked in at this point. Really excited for Of Unknown Origin. That (and the It's Alive Trilogy) is the stuff I love seeing from Scream Factory; lost gems you'd never have gotten otherwise.

I also preordered the It's Alive trilogy from Scream Factory, and it's scheduled to come in today. Of all the recent Scream Factory announcements, this was my most anticipated release. I haven't seen these movies in years, and I don't think I've ever seen the third.

They ship all my stuff from Louisville, KY, and I live in Nashville, so it gets to me usually within two days of shipping. This is the first actual Warner acquisition, right? Can't wait to screen it...

Red Dragon would be pointless. The existing BD already looks great, and is loaded with extras so I don't see what more they could add A brand new scan is much needed for Hannibal, however

Scream Factory needs to snag the first Tremors and give it a better edition. That film is poised for SF treatment.

Just ordered Crucible of Horror and preordered The House that Dripped Blood, In the Mouth of Madness collectors edition, and Memoirs of an Invisible Man. Can't wait to see how they did on Memoirs, been years since I've seen it.

Oh never mind on Red Dragon, i just looked at the screencaps and it looks great for a 2010 made BD from Universal and if it has extras in it i should get it.

Yet Hannibal can use a new scan and extras abound on BD.

Yes a Collector's Edition with 2K or 4K remastering would do the trick and would be a best seller.

Anyone break open the It's Alive set yet? I received mine yesterday, but I'm behind on some other watches and haven't got into it yet.

Scream announced the next round of steelbook double dips: Army of Darkness, The Howling, and Lifeforce
Lifeforce is particularly exciting as
Quote:
The Blu-rays included inside will have the same content (but with different disc label art) that is currently available in their respective Collector Edition releases. The exception to this is LIFEFORCE—which we’re pleased to announce that we’ve been the green-light to do brand-new 4K film transfers on both versions of the film!

I'd say 'so it begins', but then I'm surprised we didn't see the same treatment for The Howling and The Fog. I'm sort of surprised they didn't just use the steelbook as a way to flog old stock before releasing a new edition later in the year. This might suggest that we aren't going to see too many of these 4K restorations.

Arrow's Lifeforce bested Scream Factory's edition in the PQ dept. I'm thinking SF never got over that . I'm done with unnecessary double dips but I would've gone for 4K restos for Howling and The Fog.

Wait... Another Lifeforce with a new 4k master? It was such a pain just to get the one I have now. Sigh... I'm a slave to my own impulse though. For certain gonna double dip. I always want the best version of a film.

Not sure if I'm picking up any of these. I'm pretty happy with the previous SF releases of all 3 and in the case of LifeForce, I have the Arrow version as well. I may wait until they are out and see how much of an upgrade they really will be.

The Arrow release of Lifeforce looks fantastic to me. I’ll probably skip. I love steelbooks but I’m not as enthusiastic about the scream steels as I am with ones with theatrical poster art or some of arrow’s. It might be the art and font? To each their own. Looking forward to new titles hopefully from Sony and Warners!

Has anyone mentioned a Double Feature of The Fog/The Howling from Scream Factory. I saw it yesterday at my local Best Buy and don't recall hearing about it. I already had the 2 individual releases so wasn't interested.
