If I could chose, I would love for Shout Factory to raid the vaults of Troma and Lionsgate next! Those two companies really have some gems!

Troma has some fan favorite movies, like "Graduation Day", "Class of Nuk 'Em High", "The Last Horror Film", "There's Something Out There", and "The Toxic Avenger".

Lionsgate has a ton of cult classics, like "Slaughter High", "Chopping Mall", "Leprechaun", "Wishmaster", "Blood Diner", and the "Bloody Murder" series.

I think we'll see future deals with more companies one day!

And IF you ever got a deal with Lionsgate, I would LOVE the "Bloody Murder" movies!!!

"The Last Man on Earth" is public domain, so anyone can release it, including Shout/Scream Factory, although I doubt they'd be interested.

Legend Films or Hd Cinema Classics (Cultura) are the only PD horror companies that are going blu. They actually have put out some pretty good looking stuff. I'd probably look too one of them for "The Last Man on Earth".
Lets hope TGG does something with their library besides DVDs. I just picked up Tales of Terror with Pit and the Pendulum from TGG. I read Pit had an anamorphic transfer

I bought one of their Public Domain sets, and btw they're not ALL legit. It had "The Pyx" aka "Hooker Cult Murders" which is owned by Crown International...
Anyway, it was a messed up 15 film set and I asked for a return and they flat out said "No, don't email back because we aren't sending another copy."

Rude much? Lmao. Any who...

The disc were messed up because their packaging scratched it up so bad. They like put the same disc in the same prong disc holder. Like where one fits, they stick 5!!! That's BS! I like totally don't wanna buy anything from them again unless its a blu-ray... But I won't be buying their dvds.

I'll only buy their Blu-rays because, like shout factory, I will only buy blu-rays as I don't buy dvds anymore...

Apparently VCI is releasing a blu-ray of "The Bird with the Crystal Plumage" which is great because I missed out on the one from Blue Underground. And they also announced a couple other Giallos under a banner saying Coming Soon. And their site mentions "Suspiria", but I'm not sure if its referencing a past release or an upcoming blu-ray.

If there's any truth to this, it would work out well as the remake set to star Isabell Fuhrman is set to come in late 2013, which production already started. So "Suspiria" should be coming soon regardless of which compnay's putting it out.

Can you link me to that?

I was lucky to get Bird with the Crystal Plumage very late into it's release.

I would love SUSPIRIA from Scream Factory, but be prepared by a bombardment of comments about the audio and visuals

Fans know what i'm saying

Quick profit for titles they have little to no interest in releasing themselves. Also, some of these companies will take whatever they are given in the way of a master. I get more frustrated with the smaller companies who buy/license these masters knowing they have no intention to do sh!t to remaster it. They do it merely to profit on the Blu-Ray trademark.

PH3: Ashes to Ashes wasn't bad as it was a return to the original story and as a sequel I really liked it, even though some of the CGI could have been better. Now PH2: Blood Wings and PH4: Bloodfeud....those were total sh!t.

Shout licensed a couple of Full Moon titles before so I wouldn't say there's no chance of them releasing Tourist Trap but I think it's unlikely for the time being. However, there's a good chance a UK label (88 Films, who are also doing Castle Freak) might come out with a BD. They're releasing it on DVD I think sometime this year. Tourist Trap is among my favorite top ten horror films of all time.

88 Films have it out on DVD already, and they've said that they're looking into a blu ray

Great - this is beyond awesome. Arrow would be my top choice to tackle this film if MGM or Shout aren't interested. It deserves better than what we have now.
