Yes the CP 2 and 3 BDs are bareboned and no extras, we need documentaries, featurettes, commentaries, deleted scenes, CP 2 TV extended version, poster and still galleries, trailers, TV spots, interviews and all the right stuff to make quality CEs to please fans.

Inferior only in the unrated cuts to Land and Dawn yet theatrical cuts look great. The Thing looks excellent and better than Universal's BD.

I've seen THE THING countless times and Scream's release is the best I've ever seen it look.

Don't have the Arrow and probably never will (not going region free) but I really don't care..... the next release of interest will be in 4k.

I requested replacements (Stigmata and Dead Ringers) within the last week and Shout was really responsive. I sent an email with the required information last Friday evening and I received a response from Shout early Monday morning. I just received the replacements today and it appears the replacements went out on Monday.

That was my experience as well. Shouts customer service has really impressed me time and time again and is to be commended.

I don't want to be too hard on Scream or some of their releases, but I still don't think transfers are their strong point. Surely not strong enough that I would expect it to look much better than what we have already.

I like Scream and I'm satisfied with most of their releases that I buy, but I don't really expect more than solid transfers from them. It's normally the special features and other such things that they do well at. Plus you never know what kind of flaws their releases might have. They just pushed back the release date of Wild at Heart for instance. Their no Kino mediocrity in terms of PQ, but sometimes they could do a bit better.

how sure? I'm not getting my hopes up anymore for these happening any time tbh.

You would think Child's Play 2 and 3 CE would've been released by now; I still believe they may make an appearance at some point but I suspect these may get "backburnered" by Shout for now - they have bigger fish to fry. Right now they got Warner to give them access to their vault. Plus, it appears they've also made some sort of deal with Sony so they're gonna be pretty busy with those two. I wouldn't be surprised if Kino picks up the Chucky sequels themselves. They just made another MGM deal for 50 titles.

What were the complaints on the Thing transfer I thought it looked better than the old release at least

I agree i seen The Thing on BD by Scream Factory and is a great transfer better than Universal's no doubt.

What about the other titles i mentioned like Sleepaway Camp, It's Alive, Of Unknown origin, Nightbreed to all the way to Carrie? i mean Carrie, Exorcist 3, Child's Play etc. look better than their previous BDs.

Well i'm sure they are still gonna do more Universal titles besides WB/Sony/ITC/Corman/MGM/Fox stuff and i'm sure in my theory they are saving Child's Play 2 and 3 CE announcements for comic con as a big surprise, it's a guess.

And what if they announced also End of Days CE and Tremors CE next week or next month or at the comic con? would that be something especially Snow White a Tale of Terror?

I declined to buy the It's Alive Trio, I don't have Nightbreed and I haven't bought the Scream editions of Exorcist 3 or Child's Play. Carrie does look great. I haven't watched my copy of Sleepaway Camp as of yet.

I think that most of their transfers range from 3.5 t0 4 on PQ. Which is good, but I don't expect big upgrades from them in that department.

Yeah, Scream's The Thing looks absolutely fantastic. Easily one of their best releases ever.
