Scream is a cheap label. It's probably why they often miss out on the bigger name people for their releases.

I'm still debating on ordering In the Mouth of Madness, Brainscan, and ROTLD 2 and there 10% off isn't that great of a deal and these aren't out for another 2 to 3 months but if you pre-order you get them at least 2 weeks ahead of the release date overall.

Im hoping for In The Mouth of Madness we get retrospective featurette, electronic press kit, behind the scenes of how they did the creature effects to all the way to deleted scenes.

Anyone thinks this week they might announce Dr Giggles CE?

Who has the rights to the Kolchak TV series? Universal? I know Kino is releasing the two movies (Night Stalker/Strangler) but think they are in different places. Would love the series as well, only one season, seems very doable.

I doubt Dr Giggles would warrant a CE, but I'd love to see them announce it.

I hope so! Also Dolly Dearest or Mikey, not sure where the rights to those reside

Well Giggles is a cult fave so maybe it is possible for a CE with 2K or 4K restoration and extras galore even a tribute to Drake featurette.

It should improve over the previous double feature BD

That be nice and Child's Play 3 in CE! could be surprising this month or next month or july even at comic con.

*Crosses fingers for my wish BDs to be announced this week maybe even Timecop CE or Tremors or This Island Earth or Sleepwalkers or Vampires.

CAGED FURY was a blast! Did anyone else enjoy this sleaze?
Question though.. Trying like hell to track down the song on the menu/end credits. Any ideas?
It’s not listed in the credits as far as I know..

Finally watched my copy of American Gothic yesterday and really enjoyed it. It had elements of some of my latest favorites like The Slayer (planeful of yuppies stranded on a creepy island), Humongous and even Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I thought some of the kills could've used a bit better choreography to make the end results feel more satisfying but overall it was a very enjoyable "backwoods" flick with a nice twist. Blind buy is recommended!

September's announcements begin with another Sony title - and a pretty awful one: The Bride. Out 25th September:

The Bride is probably one of my least favorite movies in the whole line. The first scene was cool and Clancy Brown was fantastic, but everything with Sting & Beals was horrifically bad.

This is probably a title they had to buy as part of a package to get some films they actually wanted, I can't see anyone being excited for this !

Hah! A movie I figured even Mill Creek had no interest in, let alone anyone else! I actually saw this opening day back in 1985 and ye gods, what a mess (mind you, the movie would've been perfect if it had ended ten minutes in after the opening creation of Jennifer Beals). With its pretentious story, awful acting and mind-numbing dialogue it might've been a camp classic if it hadn't been so stupefyingly dull...at least the gothic visuals should benefit from hi-def.

Will be very curious to see if anyone connected with this misfire contributes to new supplements.

Yeah, the movie was terrible. I haven’t seen it since the 80’s but, if I remember correctly, the only redeeming factor of the whole film is Jennifer Beals is butt-naked at one point. And that’s it.
