Another wish list title of mine is Planet of the Vampires - great Mario Bava scifi film. The MGM DVD isn't anamorphic. If I only knew if this was coming from someone(Shout or otherwise) I could avoid buying the German anamorphic DVD of it

Hey Cliff, I think its with Anchor Bay but i was just wondering if there was ever a chance of Scream getting Class of 1984, I don't know if you guys have tried to get anything from Anchor Bay, but that would be a killer release.

Great title that one would look cool in HD if the print is still in good shape etc. and you are right the DVD I have isn't 16:9, yet I still pop it in every once in a while.

Tom Savini is great in it. This movie stands out from Romero's filmography but oddly fits at the same time. Its a fun, fun film.
not to worry... it will be packed

I know it's been shot down but why do I still get the feeling Shout will release MOTEL HELL on Blu? Maybe it's got something to do with Knightriders being revealed as an upcoming Shout title shortly after Arrow made their announcement. It's obviously not a title MGM wants to "hang onto" and release themselves, as Arrow's announcement clearly proves, so I'm thinking it's something that may wind up being licensed in Region 1 as well , if not to Shout then someone else. Thoughts?

"Class of 1984" definitely gets my vote if you guys ever have talks with AB. Is "Road Games" with them or with Studio Canal now? Any hope of seeing that one in the future, Cliff? I've been dying to add that to my collection since the DVD has been OOP for sometime now.

Yeah I remember selling it off when I went insane and sold my almost 2000 dvds and 800 blu rays in 2011 It was a good DVD, too. It's on Netflix last I checked so at least there's still public interest in it (I hate when horror gets forgotten about which is why SF is a godsend)

Gotta be honest, I own the "Scarecrows" DVD but I really don't care for that film at all. Maybe I need to revisit it but it didn't do anything for me when I originally saw it. If Scream picked it up, I'd obviously buy it to show my support but it's just not a favorite of mine.

Stephen King performances aren't that rare, he's appeared in seven films, albeit in mostly cameo roles.

From Scream Factory's Facebook page:

"We'll be announcing our final list of extras tomorrow for PHANTASM II (3/26 street date) of which there is A LOT of. Check back with us tomorrow!"

Well Planet of the Vampires was shot down by Cliff, which I actually appreciated it because now I feel a little more comfortable getting the anamorphic German DVD release. It is hard for me to buy a DVD when it might or could get a Blu Ray release, so I think Im safe. Maybe I should ask Arrow if they might have it coming up.

Not sure if it's already been answered, but can we expect slipcovers for both Prison and Lifeforce?
