Very long shots.
I think Vestron is more focused on retro B films, so I don't think they'd be very interested in May or Blair Witch 2.
I believe our only chance of getting a nice release of these films is if Lionsgate works out some kind of deal with Scream in the future.

Same here, I used to own the DVD long ago. Quite the guilty pleasure, regret getting rid of the DVD long ago so this is a Blu-ray I would be sure to keep.

They've released The Wishmaster Collection which runs from 1997 - 2002, and are releasing Dagon (2001) and Beyond Re-Animator (2003) in July. I'd argue that May and Blair Witch 2 would fit right in line with those other films.

Took the thoughts right out of my head and saved me looking up the dates. Thumbs up!

I liked Turistas. I'm a big traveler myself, so I've always liked the travel related horror movies or thrillers. Turistas, Hostel, the Beach, the Ruins, etc.

I can see Criterion doing I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE, BODY SNATCHER, and maaaaybe 7TH VICTIM.

I can see Scream doing ISLE OF THE DEAD and BEDLAM, maybe even has a double feature (if they still even do those).

LEOPARD MAN, I'm unsure. Maybe Criterion to keep the Tourneur thing going. But I'm reluctant to think it would be successful as a standalone.

Boy, completely forgot about the Wishmaster Collection, and for some reason I thought Dagon and Beyond Re-Animator were much older (maybe because I haven't seen them and they look a lot like retro films).
Anyway you're right, so I hope the line will live long enough for us to get all the titles we want

For double features, it will depend entirely on whether or not Warner will allow it. Universal didn't for some reason. It will also be interesting to see if Sony allow double features. The fact that they're allowing a box set might be telling in that respect.

Isle of the Dead was the surprise winner for me in that lot.

So it looks like Sony is releasing Christine in 4K by itself again. I guess they never wanted to give this one up.

Interesting. That (in my opinion) leads me to believe that Sony themselves will also be releasing Candyman now as well.

Why would you think that? They've released Christine prior and they haven't released Candyman prior. I'm still thinking SF is sitting on Candyman as one of their biggest releases this year. Not that I'd be disappointed if Sony released it on their own (especially a nice 4K restoration). It would likely be cheaper for me if Sony did release it!

If Sony is planning on releasing a 4k UHD of Christine it's reasonable to think that they are preparing a small assortment of titles to come out along side it as they have done in the past. My guess is that Sony has looked at their horror catalog and decided to release a few 4k UHD horror titles for their Fall/Halloween promotion.

Hmmm... that post lists it as just an anniversary edition of the film, so perhaps it is just a one off release without other titles.

It's Sony. Nothing they do makes sense.

In 2013, Christine was a film they wouldn't release, themselves. Now, it's a film that's slated to be the first pre-90's horror film with a domestic UHD release.

Christine in 4K should be a real treat since it's from Sony. Any time a back catalog title gets announced for UHD treatment it's cause for celebration.
