Would love to see both these get the full Shout Factory treatment.

Too bad. It doesn't appear that either of those outfits are in any hurry to release these any time soon.

I'd there a reason why Warner doesn't liscense out films? Why do they sit on these titles??

so, as much as it would be cool to do it, it would cost a good chunk of money to do it.
I figured a career-encompassing doc would be cost prohibitive, but perhaps then a look just at his b-movie horror stuff? I'm guessing (although I have no real idea) that things like Vampire Hookers and Horror of the Blood Monster wouldn't cost a lot to license clips from? Or maybe simply a brief talking-head discussion of his work by one or two 'horror experts' illustrated just with movie posters and perhaps a couple of public-domain trailer snippets?

MGM already put out a very nice looking disc of II a couple of years ago, and there is a Japanese/German release of III.

There have definitely been a lot of highly desirable titles shot down. Makes me nervous to be honest.

I think a lot of these titles are getting shot down simply because Scream Factory's such a new endeavor. As we've seen with Fright Night and NotLD90, horror fans are dedicated, and the big studios probably aren't aware of that. Maybe once the Scream Factory returns start to go up even more, they'll start getting more titles.

"Poltegeist" or Poltergeist? If it's the latter, then Poltergeist 2 has already been released by MGM (20th Century Fox). I presume MGM/Fox is sitting on the US P3 since it's already been released on in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

i was only being toungue in cheek really.,im genuinely trustful of any of their picks as theres not really one that that i don't want of the first batch.SF is the best thing to happen to horror in years for me.

The Nest doesn't come with a Slipcover since it isn't a collector edition correct?
