I'm probably reading into this waaayy too much but the fact that they interviewed Julie Carmen for ItMoM makes me wonder if Scream Factory really does have Fright Night Part 2.
In the past, they've done separate interviews for separate releases during the same interview session. You can tell because the background is the same and the interviewee is wearing the same clothes, hairstyle, etc. So.... could FN2 be one of their big SDCC announcements? And feature an interview with Julie Carmen who starred in it? ![]() |

Im kinda hoping they snag the Exorcist prequel... maybe put both Beginning and Dominion on separate discs but in the same packaging. Dominion's current blu ray is utter crap. The image is cropped, and the mastering is piss poor. Id rather see both Beginning and Dominion in Storaro's originally intended 2.00:1 ratio. A remastering woild be nice as well.

If FN 2 got a 2K or 4K restoration, maybe it might look better than any bootleg DVD fans or the original DVD held on to. Quote:
Twilight Scam's blu-ray i didn't buy and only have the old DVD, i mean i just hate Twilight and their limited edition crap. I got an ideal release that can use a CE as it only has 2 extras as it's Outland for it can have more extras and same great transfer. Last edited by DenOfEarth; 06-14-2018 at 11:19 PM. |

![]() ![]() After his newborn baby, a mutant with fangs and claws, slaughtered doctors in a hospital delivery room and left a swatch of corpses across Los Angeles before being killed by police officers, Frank, played once again by John P. Ryan (The Right Stuff, Runaway Train), is recovering from the trauma and has taken it upon himself to travel around the country warning expectant parents who have been targeted by a conspiracy after their unborn infants have tested positive for similar genetic makeup indicating mutations. Soon after he introduces himself to Eugene and Jody Scott, played respectively by Frederic Forrest (Apocalypse Now, Lonesome Dove) and Kathleen Lloyd (The Car, The Missouri Breaks), Jody goes into labor. With the help of Frank, the new parents are rescued by a mobile medical unit, and Jody safely gives birth to an infant who shares the fearsome appearance of Frank's late child. The mutant baby is placed in a Los Angeles holding facility with two similar newborns, all of whom show advanced intelligence and evolution, but these unique beings and their parents are soon targeted by authorities. All of the firearms and trained officers in the world may not be enough to save all involved parties from the deadly wrath of the killer offspring. The 1978 horror film, It Lives Again, was directed by Larry Cohen, who also helmed its 1974 predecessor, It's Alive. While this sequel does not quite recapture the urgency of that original movie, it succeeds at providing thrills and chills while also throwing some thought-provoking ethical questions onto the table. Once again, two normal parents must reconcile their affection for their own flesh and blood while reeling in shock from the results of the genetic mutation that has turned their baby into a deadly force equipped by nature to extinguish the life of anyone in its path. Can a parent kill his or her own child under such circumstances? Does the government have a right to step in and take the life of the child without the consent of the parents? One particular scene, with a helpless Jody in a hospital delivery room watching doctors and authorities prepare to kill her baby upon delivery, is quite unsettling. Once again, composer Bernard Herrmann, whose music scores graced classics like Citizen Kane and North by Northwest, lends a touch of prestige to a fun B-movie. Be on the lookout for John Marley, who played the unfortunate horse owner in The Godfather, as a man driven to hunt down the mutant creatures because of an event in his own past. As with It's Alive, this Scream Factory Blu-ray excels with a fine video and audio presentation, while also giving us another informative and engaging commentary track by Cohen. |

I really don't think they have access to Fright Night II. As for the original, I don't know what else they can do with it that Eureka hasn't done yet. Just my two cents anyway.
