I have the same NSM steelbook and would recommend it also to those that are region free. Although I never checked if it was region locked.

I have a softspot for "The Mangler", but that NSM steelbook is still a bit expensive for me for a movie that's more guilty pleasure than truly good. It sounds like a great package, but I'd love a cheaper option.

They're expensive but I offset the cost by selling digital codes. And I only buy them from Diabolik whenever possible. Importing is a headache sometimes.

If I could only get one released it would have to be a Critters set with all four movies.

Secondary choices:

Tremors CE
Deadly Friend CE
Jason Goes to Hell
Jason X
Kolchak TV series (it would be a surprise but a really nice surprise if they went outside their box a little)

Kolchak, great choice, love that show since i saw reruns of them in the 80s and 90s.

I actually have gotten / seen a lot of great deals on Amazon.de , even with some comprable packages, just not that one. Which means it's probably selling just fine at the higher price. I don't see it at all at Diabolik, they must be out of stock. (Just as well, I *shouldn't* order it now, but since I'm gonna hit their Arrow sale anyway it would be harder to resist.)

I (used to) do a lot of importing. AmazonDE takes the longest, which is the most frustrating, and I've had some orders (very few, though) never show up. AmazonUK orders arrive a little faster, as do AmazonES (Spain) orders. AmazonFR and AmazonIT don't take as long as Germany, but longer than UK. Diabolik is definitely the best option if you don't want to wait; you'll pay a few bucks more but it's usually worth it. Waiting is the hardest part, and when you order from a foreign Amazon it's NEVER packaged well.

When Lee the bounty hunter turned into the Playboy model...that was great...and the scene where the crites all rolled up into the giant ball that was another favorite scene of mine...

It's a crap shoot.

I've had one Amazon.de order take forever to show up and another show up in mere days.

I think it's a roll of the dice -- all my German packages showed up (granting the waiting period -- I am never in a rush, I assume it will take a month to come from overseas), but more than one of my amazon.co.uk packages went missing. And, to their credit, they were very good about speedily replacing them once I contacted them, but even so I felt like it was gonna become a hassle so I slowed my orders down.

They most likely won't announce tomorrow so it's looking like Friday is the day !

Why not tomorrow? You never know, depends on how much they have to announce.

Yes, two or three times I've had my shipping upgraded for some reason, and the packages arrived in days, with tracking. That's great when that happens. And packages that were lost were either refunded or replaced, so complaints from me are few and far between. If you're region free and don't mind waiting, foreign Amazon exploration is a great rabbit hole.
