I sincerely hope Scream wouldn't waste their time on a couple of recent DTV cash-ins with no legitimate connection to the films they're ostensibly sequels to.

I am hoping everything sells so well that the brass at Shout decide to give Ms. 45 another look since they were not too confident the last time. Throw Cliff and us all a bone, please.

The reason Shout decided to pass on Ms. 45 was because of the content, not because it wouldn't sell. At least that's what I've heard...

I would love to see this too. More never before released titles please!

I would love to see some of the former-Darky Sky titles through Shout Factory!

Like "Faces of Death", or "Eaten Alive". Maybe even "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". After all, Dark Sky made a deal with Warner, so why not another company.

Faces of Death was already released on BD by MPI/Gorgon. Was the 40th AE of TCM from WB just a rumor, or was it officially cancelled?

Look what arrived today! It's the first 2 weeks worth of prizes for the "Month to Scream & Shout About" contest. The winner for the first week will be receiving 3 titles from the Roger Corman's Cult Classics collection. That's right 3 titles! The following week, the winner will also receive another 3 titles but the theme of those titles I'm keeping secret for now Ponder away on what might be in those boxes... They could be yours soon!

Be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel to stay informed. The official announcement video for the contest will go live Wednesday, January 30th and the month long contest will officially kick off Wednesday, February 6th!

Now TCM has been released enough times already, Im all for Legend of the Werewolf, Bram Stokers To Die For, Watchers. I think we really need someone to release the Susan Hart AIP titles once and for all. I think Scream or Shout would be the perfect company to do that, although VCI has released a few lately, from the Rhino Video Vaults...so maybe VCI has the inside track.
I think they would also sell pretty well as there are a lot of 50s B movie, drive in pre gory horror lovers out there...imagine a set with Invasion of the Saucer Men, IT Conquered the World and the Amazing Colossal Man.

We went back and made an offer on the film to the owner, but it wasn't accepted.

Such a drag to hear, Cliff. Any hope that you guys will attempt to negotiate again with the owner in the future?

Hi Cliff, I mentioned this in a PM, but maybe it got lost in your in-box. I have the original Howling press kit and would be happy to ship it to you guys if you wanted to scan any of the pages or images for a PDF, slideshow or whatever.

Just came across SWAMPTHING in some of my old VHS, that would be a cool release from Scream/Shout.

so they just posted the final extras for the Phantasm II disc and it includes the first trailers for the other films. If they obtained rights to get the trailers, it makes me wonder if they got rights to the other 3 films now!

EDIT: scratch that. Cliff says they don't have them, but Don let them use the trailers. Weird, I figured the trailers would be property of MGM or whoever has the rights now.

I wonder if the trailers will be 1080p? Too bad they couldn't get the Phantasm IV trailer as well.

Don Coscarelli owns all four films. Universal just distributed the second one.

Someone should tell him to start a Kickstarter to fund a limited edition self-release of the first film. I bet there would be a lot of interest.
