True, although Final Exam may be the most boring slasher film ever made, and that's really saying something.
[Show spoiler]Plus, there is literally no motivation given for the killer. He's just, uh, a janitor who kills people. Couldn't they at least have thrown in some half-assed dialog about how he had failed his final exam, and had been bitter about it ever since, having to thanklessly toil at the school that he flunked out of?

I've never seen EVILSPEAK before but I've seen the trailer dozens of times and I would buy site unseen.

The ending makes the whole thing worth it! Outrageous, over the top carnage that has to be seen to be believed!

I think it is very underrated. It is very realistic, the dude's just a nut. It has a really original vibe to it. I love it and it will be a day one pick up for me.

So, is CODE RED handling all the BLU releases for the Scorpion previous dvds? Or just this one? Or multiple but not all?

Tough to say but I imagine it's just a matter of things playing out in different way with each of these films. That said, just because Code Red has the Blu-ray rights to "Final Exam" doesn't mean they will be doing one. If I'm not mistaken, Bill from Code Red has the Blu-ray rights to "Savage Streets" while Walter had DVD rights which explains why we didn't see a Blu-ray release of Walter's terrific re-release edition. Code Red is just getting into the Blu-ray game and they came out with a handful of titles they are already preparing for the format so I wouldn't count on them getting to "Final Exam" anytime soon, if at all. Walter's recent DVD re-release of the film was actually top notch so for the time being, I'm pretty content with it.

Did anyone notice that the original "Friday the 13th" and its sequels already have release dates via Warner, and the original was released earlier this month with sequels starting newxt month... I missed this.

Warner bought like several hundred films video distribution rights that's good for a 3 year deal then they revert back to Paramount.

What the ****, they keep owning everything. What is this, WB has a monopoly on the home video rights?

Paramount and Warner Bros. made a deal a few months back where WB will handle distribution of 600 Paramount titles. The "Friday the 13th" franchise (the original 8 Paramount flicks) were swooped up in this deal. As far as I know, only the first three are being re-release via WB. No word on the other 7 sequels has emerged. This deal is said to last about 3 years.

Warner is a studio that realizes the money to be made on the home video market. The good news is that they plan on releasing a lot of catalog titles on blu but the bad is that it never is what you want them to be like off the top of my head I'd like to see RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 2 but even if they did they would not do it justice like Scream Factory would.

It's just WB rereleasing the same discs of 1-3 Paramount already released. Until WB releases parts 4-8, there's nothing to get excited about.

Just search it on here, there are no announcement links that I could find. WB shop has it, bestbuy.com has it, walmart.com lists it. The blu-ray.com database has them listed.

So these are carbon copies of the Paramount releases, with just the WB logo instead??

Pretty much. In the case of "Zodiac", "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "The Kite Runner", they are the Paramount releases with just a barcode sticker on the plastic that lists WB as the distributor. I imagine this is the case with all the Paramount "re-releases" through WB so far.

Considering they seem to be simply the same Blu-Ray discs, I don't see the point in the deal.
