Defnitely 100% getting:
Candyman (CE)
The Critters Collection
Sleepwalkers (CE)
Urban Legend (CE)
Starman (CE)

Probably getting:
Urban Legend: Final Cut
The Craft (CE)
Screamers

Maybe getting:
Single White Female
Saturday the 14th
10 to Midnight (CE) (This one bugs me because I already have the Twilight Time release but we'll see...)

Probably not getting:
Obssession (CE)
Dracula: Prince of Darkness (CE)

ZERO Interest:
Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2 (CE)

Witches might happen eventually.

I'm glad to get Candyman, Obession and Single White Female.

I already have The Craft, Urban Legend, Sleepwalkers, 10 To Midnight, and Dracula- Prince Of Darkness I guess I'll read reviews and see if they offer anything major in improved PQ.....

I already have Starman as well but I would welcome a new release with extras... but even that one I wish a 4k release was coming (like Christine)

the rest are meh titles to me.

So 3 out of 14 that are titles I don't own and look forward to getting...

Everyone else around here seems pretty stoked so I'm happy for you!
Urban Legend, Starman and Sleepwalkers are bareboned BDs and they needed extras and hope Sleepwalkers includes director's cut. Your no extras lover or what?

So it looks like Scream and Arrow are using the same transfer for Candyman. The extras look almost identical. Of course Arrow's will likely have the better packaging, Scream's release looks fantastic. Glad I didn't jump the gun and get the region B release.

Same here, excited to hear more Hammer titles coming.

Also looking forward to Obsession, Critters, maybe on Screamers and SWF.

First time I'm hearing Sleepwalkers has an alternate cut, how is it different?
And I'm not sure but I think the existing Starman Blu is not completely barebones.

Definitely in for The Critters Collection, both Urban Legends films, Single White Female and I grew up on Hammer Horror on New York TV as a kid in the '80s so I'm very curious to see what will be available on the Dracula, Prince of Darkness collector's edition disc. I've got the Millenium blu but this one offers a new transfer so I'm pretty much in. Looking forward to new Hammer in '19 as well! I already have 10 To Midnight from TT so I'll bypass this edition. Thought the film was alright but could have been a much more satisfying blend of Bronson vigilante action and slasher flick.

I just gave up on THE HITCHER and bought the HBO Mod DVD. How does the MOD DVD compare to the 1999 regular DVD release?

I'm excited for Starman and hopefully they'll port over that commentary track with Carpenter and Bridges and include some great interviews. Critters is a great looking set. Candyman looks like a great set overall. Dracula: Prince of Darkness is a nice surprise. The Shout Select titles I hope have better transfers to justify the double dipping.

I absolutely cannot start to invest in single Hammer discs at these prices.

So what's left for Carpenter?

Fox
Big Trouble in Little China

Sony
Christine
Vampires
Ghosts of Mars

Echo Lake
The Ward

Paramount
Escape From LA

Look like all the studios are on board except for Echo Lake and Paramount.
Thought the FOX / Disney merger may make Big Trouble difficult

I say this every time they announce a new one, but I’d totally buy a box set that has all of the John Carpenter movies that SF has. Except Halloween. Leave that to the Halloween set.

It seems like they've pretty much announced their entire November / December slate, possibly January and February as well. Announcements, outside of IFC titles and other assorted contemporary films, may be in relatively short supply for a few months.

I suspect they have something saved up for...

As long as you're not using a Sony product to play your BDs, Umbrella's releases of both films are solid choices and can be had for relatively cheap prices. Both could be improved upon, but it definitely beats waiting or paying absurd amounts for the OOP Twilight Time discs.

As would I, and I have no idea why. I only possess around 500 BDs, so it's not hard to quickly grab one of his films from my library, and I've bought most of them many, many times over, but if a Carpenter retrospective came to fruition I'd be all over it.
