Why wouldn't it be? It may not matter though if Warner still has rights to it.

What about Child's Play 2 and 3? Why not Scream Factory editions of those films?

Cliff, first off, you are doing an amazing job and releasing some fantastic movies.

Any chance of Scream Factory releasing Bad Taste and The Gate on Blu ray?

I believe "The Gate" is still with Lionsgate. What I would do to have that on Blu-ray! They did a terrific job with their special edition DVD a few years back just wish it would get an upgrade.

Well, at least they're going to get released. I would have preferred them getting the Scream treatment but oh well.

Yeah, The Gate is Lionsgate, so it won't get licensed. It's a shame, since I concur that the SE for it was fantastic, and it should have really gotten a Blu release as well.

OK. I have that DVD too and its great, they certainly did a great job with it. It's such an underrated 80's flick and it certainly deserves a Blu ray. Hopefully it gets on soon.

Totally underrated! I can't tell you how many times I rented the VHS as a kid, I couldn't get enough of that film and still can't.

I think Bad Taste reverted back to WingNut Films, who are currently working on a restoration of it, but apparently they're not willing to talk releases or rights until all The Hobbits films are out. So we have a bit of a wait on our hands.

Yep, I've tried to talk to them, but they are very busy

Why would they wait 'til all The Hobbit movies are released when they can release it to tie in with the new movies. Heck, last year would've been perfect since the film turned 25 and the first Hobbit movie was released.

Because The Hobbit is extremely big buisness, and they probably have too much work on their hands.

NOTE:

I would like to leave a generic request to all members posting in Cliff's thread.

If you wish to have your questions answered, the first thing you should consider doing is asking them in a respectful manner.

The second thing you should consider is respecting those who come here and spend their time addressing you and your questions.

If you only come here to seek confrontation and material to create drama and promote your half-truths on other forums, it is probably best that you stop visiting our site altogether. No one is interested in having these types of "discussions" here, and our insiders are certainly not targets you could abuse at will.

If you can't respect those you interact with, our community is not for you. Move on and find a different "home" where you could vent.

Respect should go both ways. I hope this is perfectly clear now.

Pro-B
