Question, if I were to pre-order say Candyman, Critters, and House on Haunted Hill would Shout! ship them all at once or by release?

They'd probably wait and ship them all at once.

There was option to choose. You had to select the option to receive them all at once., I believe. Or something like that.

Well, that was nice to wake up to. No complaints here.

I'm in for
1. Critters Collection - was my most wanted
2. Candyman
3. Starman
4. Screamers

I'm thinking the lawsuit had a hand in the Friday the 13th related stuff. Maybe in the future.

Overall very happy.

If you select the option to “Hold Shipment Until All Items Available” at checkout, your order will not be sent to our warehouse(s) until all items in the order are available. Please note that although we will consolidate your items in the fewest number of shipments possible, we ship from multiple warehouses, so you may still receive multiple shipments if you select this option.

Please note that if you order items that have already been released along with pre-orders that will not be released for several months, your order will not be sent to our warehouse until all the pre-orders have become available.

If you selected this option at checkout, but would like items in your order to ship as soon as they become available, contact us at info@shoutfactory.com with your order number and we can update your shipping preferences for the order.

I mean... shouldn't they be happy enough people are actually buying these releases in the first place? The typical consumer doesn't care to pay twice as much or more for "worthless" extras or better picture. Most consumers still rather still just pay less for a SD DVD to play on their new fancy 4k TV. Hell... even most of those rather not the DVD or Blu and just stream the movie. People like us are a dying breed. I've even had plenty of people come in where I used to work and talk about not noticing a difference between Blu and DVD. Some going as far as to call it (HD Blu) a scam.

In the past, they shipped as stuff was released. It’s been over a year since I’ve ordered direct, so they might have changed this policy.

Down for all the above. Delighted to see Urban Legend films get a good release.

Regarding VALENTINE, I should say it is a very safe bet this one is coming. It has the same director as Urban Legend, Jamie Blanks. I would presume he did any special features for both films at the same time.
maybe in november they will announce valentine for a Feb 2019 release.

i'm betting the next non CE retro horror title for November will be Dr Giggles.

I am elated to pick up Urban Legend and Candyman. These are HUGE ones for me.

Will also get Urban Legend 2, and possibly Single White Female.

I think Candyman, The Craft & Urban Legend are the only definite buys fore me. I may pick up Urban Legends Final Cut when it goes on sale down the line.

Depending on what price point it hits, I may get the Critters box set; but with the REC box set a couple months earlier; not sure I want to jump on another box; especially when I'm not overly fond of all the movies(Critters). But the box set does look beautiful.

May also snag Single White Female & Sleepwalkers during a sale down the line as well.

Nice to see Candyman and Critters Col. finally get a US release, but the double dips are getting out of control from Shout..... especially on already excellent Sony releases. If they were UHD releases, I would be all-in, but the PQ is going to be the same as most of the already released titles, as even a 4K restoration put on a 1080P disc is pointless in most cases. Besides the possible newer extras, which are not my main purchase incentive, many are passes. Really wish they would have come to the table with 60-75% new to blu releases, but I guess this is the new trend from them from now on. Re-release basically the same 1080P disc with new extras and slap a slipcover on it.

Two Evil Eyes is getting a new release in the UK in September. Any chance Scream Factory can obtain the rights to release this?

Pretty sure another label already picked this up or Blue Underground is doing a new edition. I can't remember exactly what I heard

Sleepwalkers, Urban Legends and Starman had bareboned BDs.

Any chance that the Critters films will get stand alone releases? With SF, probably not.
