How about a properly remastered edition of Ravenous?

I think Fox Searchlight owns the Good Thief, which is one of my top wants.

Oh well. One studio at a time. Still plenty left with the Warner, Universal, Sony, etc. deals! Lots to look forward to over the next while hopefully. Just confuses me that studios would rather just sit on films and do nothing with them than get SOMETHING from another studio willing to release stuff.

I'm probably the only one but I want to see Scream Factory put out a nice special features-laden Blu of Masters of the Universe.

Who has the rights to BEASTMASTER? That would make a great Scream Factory or Shout Select title!

I bet I haven't seen The Beastmaster since... 1990. Long overdue to re-visit.

I'm pretty sure this and Masters of the Universe turned me gay back in the 80's.

Sitting back after all the excitement of the annoucements. I'm always interested in the artwork but in the end I really don't care because I'm in it for the movie itself. Just my thoughts but not a huge fan of the Candyman art. Doesn't really look scary to me. The secondary limited art is way better but the original poster with the eye and the bee is more creepy and I like it way better. Always stood out to me at the old video rental place. Urban Legend almost works but something about the shattering glass is throwing it off. The original wasn't anything fantastic with that one though - kind of typical of that era of teen slashers. Sleepwalkers is pretty cool. My favourite by far is the Critters set. Combination of the new box and the original artwork on the cases. Love it!

That's the end of my mashup of random thoughts.

I asked awhile back and think somebody said they might be owned by Don Coscarelli himself. I would love to see a remastered version. One of my big favorites as a kid. After the Phantasm box set was released by Well Go USA and apparently was well done, I was hoping maybe he'd let them do Beastmaster next.

So you’re saying the freaking Critters set & Sleepwalkers excites you more than Candyman & Urban Legend? I don’t follow your logic

It was with Echo Bridge, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. It might be the same guy that owns Fade to Black, in which case I'm not expecting a US release soon, if ever.

There is a region free Australian reissue that is supposed to look quite nice. It looks like it features a commentary and a nearly one hour long featurette.

I'd love to see Beastmaster 2!

As for the first movie, it recently had a German release too, although I don't know how it compares to the Australian one?

So apparently In the Mouth of Madness shipped with a wrapped blu ray and an unwrapped slipcover. Sad to see that this is the way they are doing it now.

Retailers like Amazon will be shipping these and scuffing up the hell out of the slipcover.
