From Scream Factory's Facebook page:

"Disfigured and hooded mad killers are on the loose! On May 21st, Scream Factory will unleash the gory summer camp slasher THE BURNING and the long sought-after THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN. Both movies debut for the first time on Blu-ray, with TOWN making its debut on DVD as well.

THE BURNING is created and produced by Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and features Fisher Stevens (The Cove) , Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) and Holly Hunter (The Piano) in early film roles plus amazing gore effects from Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead). It will be presented as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray™ + DVD combo packed with extras (which are still in development but will carry over material that was on the prior MGM DVD release) and a reversible wrap with original theatrical key art. ***SPECIAL OFFER: Those who order The BURNING from us at ScreamFactoryDVD.com directly will receive the exclusive 18”x 24” poster featuring the newly commissioned artwork created by Nathan Thomas Milliner. Only 300 posters will be printed, so these are only available while supplies last.****

The highly requested THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN stars Oscar-Winner Ben Johnson and Dawn Wells (Gilligan's Island) and will be presented in Blu-ray + DVD combo with a new HD transfer of the film and extras (still in development and will be announced at a later date). The DVD will contain a rare bonus feature-length movie, THE EVICTORS (from 1979) that is also from the same Director as TOWN and has never been on DVD before.

Hope you are thrilled about this as we are. Keep coming back in the next few months for more details and Happy Friday!"

Also Arrow's Black Sunday (with both Italian and AIP versions), MoC's Onibaba, and Olive's She Devil.

Edit: Glad they chose that poster art for Town, I've always liked it. Evictors will be a SD extra, as predicted. Looking forward to hearing what the extras for both will be, especially whose participation for Burning they were able to wrangle.

Very excited for The Burning.
I hope it has a good retro-documentary, and dare we dream for a few words from Holly Hunter

That's an interesting way of packaging these two, an incognito h-idef/lo-def double feature with only one title billed. I think it's was probably the smartest way to go with these two.

Very happy to have Town and The Evictors at last though I must say I am a little disappointed we won't get to see the amazing poster for The Evictors anywhere on the artwork. Cliff is there any possibility down the line you might release it as a standalone DVD, perhaps a limited Shout! site exclusive? Or perhaps a reversible cover on the combo pack with split Evictors/Town art? Both unlikely I guess, but still I am very grateful to finally own these classic horrors.

Wow, I skimmed this earlier and didn't even notice The Evictors was mentioned in the extras. Surprised this isn't noted somewhere on the cover art.

I'm hoping it'll just be on a sticker, if anything. The less extraneous text on the cover, the better.

I do agree with that, I suppose.

I don't really mind that The Evictors is DVD only. I'm just glad to have it. And in that case, I'm glad it's paired with Town, because that makes it much more affordable (and saves shelf space).

But it almost seems like it's being swept under the rug. Which is a shame, because The Evictors is a little gem of a movie. Actually, I might even like it more than Town.

Regardless, this will be a great release. Can't wait to add it to my collection!

I'm also glad they're not redundantly putting Evictors on both the BD and the DVD, as Lionsgate is doing with the extras on their Hammer films, thus freeing up more space for the main feature, at least theoretically.

The Evictors being DVD bonus feature only ... was it just in bad shape... not good enough for HD?

Perhaps a techie can explain: is there any difference in quality between SD video upconverted on a BD player from a DVD (as will be the case with Evictors) and SD video upconverted on a BD player from a BD?

Lots of people would have thunk it. It's a very popular title.
