Like I said earlier, just go into the sequels expecting horror comedies that pay homage to the slasher films of the era they came out of. Pure tongue in cheek but a lot of fun to be had! Also Angela has some of the best one liners in general.

Also we don't see the runtime on the interview. Sometime they are able to get a quality 30-40 minute discussion.

I’m sure this has probably been asked here before, but who owns the rights to the original Woman in Black TV movie? I just saw it for the first time on YouTube (rough quality but definitely watchable) and I loved it.

Amazon.ca pre orders for October are up and prices are still reasonable as of now! Creepshow is $30.17, Trick R Treat and House on Haunted Hill are $28.15. It looks like this pre order issue isn't effecting amazon.ca as much as it effects amazon.com and other US distributors.

Unless the DiabolikDVD team are deliberately being left in the dark, this sounds like bad news...

Well, I guess I can keep saving money if they want to continue being anti-consumer. Especially if they are going to brazenly make it even more firm and strict. That just pushes me to never, ever purchase another title from them. I’m not paying the extortionate prices of their own site or Amazon.

Put in my order for Creepshow... I'll admit, I'm pretty happy about that price.

For Fright Night 2 fans. Vestron has a video for Maximum Overdrive and someone asked about Fright Night 2. Vestron FB page said they were told Lionsgate doesn't have it and it's back with the producers.

In my experience, Scream Factory Releases are usually $30+ (Though they have been better priced lately) through Amazon Canada. However, I thought this release, being a bit fancier than the usual releases, would be a bit more expensive.

So, I guess rather than saying I'm happy with this price... I guess what I meant was, "I'm alright with this price because I thought it'd be more expensive".

I actually stopped buying Scream Factory discs for a few years because the prices were so high.

If I recall correctly, the first Return of the Living Dead was about $38 CAD for the longest time... It's now down to $28, so I'll probably pick it up.

I know some of you are giving us a hard time about overpaying for these discs... But $30 or so is cheaper than than it has been traditionally... So I'm ok with it.

I'd say its bound to fail spectacularly this bug they recently got up their ass.

We got Arrow, MVD Rewind/Marquee, Vinegar Syndrome and other labels putting out solid work while being far more consumer friendly, so we can easily sacrifice Shout/Scream with only a temporary setback.

Luckily Shout will continue to thrive and put out quality releases like they have the last 15 years.
