I knew they didn't charge until the item shipped, which is why I was confused as to to why my debit card was declined by them the last time I tried to pre-order a few titles without having enough in my account to cover every title. I'm assuming they need you to have the full amount at the time in order to complete the order, yet they won't take the money until each item is ready to ship. But I was used to amazon taking the order regardless and notifying you when the time comes that your payment is declined and then eventually cancelling if you don't fix it.

Its definitely best to use PayPal when pre-ordering from SF. Unlike Amazon, once they get ready to ship it out and charge you, you need to have the full amount. If not, they will cancel your pre-order on the spot, without giving you a second chance to fix the payment. It sucks even more when the item includes a poster or LE that's sold out. Trust me it's happened to me before lol. |

Thinking about it more... This new way of doing this is probably going to benefit me because there is no freakin; way I can afford to buy everything that is coming out right away in October. Oct is so jammed packed with stuff and Scream is going to help me from spending too much in Oct this year. They're going to make it easier for me to put off a lot of things until a later date. Move along snowflake, quit trying to get attention. I don’t even own the movie you’re talking about.

Scream Factory has really disappointed me with their new pre-order policy. I would have already pre-ordered Candyman but I'm not doing it at $35 plus $5.99 shipping. I'll just wait it out or, if worse comes to worse, buy it used on the resale market.

Also, this is how Scream has Candyman listed on their site. WHAT A GREAT DISCOUNT!

I completely agree with not being a fan of the new structure and I will definitely stay away from purchasing until I see dramatic price decreases on all releases. I mean, these are films I have already seen 100's of times each so I can wait a few more months for the price to drop.

![]() If I have to spend the money, I will. But if I can save $10-$15 just by waiting a few months on each film, I will gladly do that. I mean, that saves me over $100 easily each year alone. |
