I asked about "Pumpkinhead". Too bad they couldn't get this movie. Amazing horror film by the late Stan Winston. I'm hoping for a blu-ray release of "Invaders From Mars" remake. Great movie!

That makes me sad. I guess we'll just have to bug MGM until they give it to us. I mean we got Killer Klowns From Outerspace and Jeepers Creepers.

...And TCM 2, but that was MGM's total horror catalog output for all of 2012.

Come on, MGM'll do the Blu-Ray themselves. There are probably other interesting ones that probably need to see the light of day? Or other films that are not just Horror?

Either way, Pumpkinhead is fine with the only need is updated picture and sound quality for a Blu-Ray release.

haha pretty much. At least we got those. MGM is being really stingy I guess.

All in due time though. And I agree MGM has a ton of stuff we would all love to see.

Scream also needs to release this in a CE.

Very true. I'm guessing several of the rejected titles will eventually be released by Shout.

I truly think they have a lot more than what we know already. This is just a hunch or a gut feeling, but this is the start of something really big and beautiful

Has MGM stopped releasing movies on MOD completely? I haven't seen any lately. Come to think of it, I haven't seen ANYTHING from MGM on any format besides last year's obvious tentpole Bond franchise and, well, that's it. Arrow getting MOTEL HELL leads me to believe MGM is picking and choosing who gets to release specific titles. Unless Cliff actually does have Motel Hell and is keeping it a secret, I refuse to believe Shout would intentionally pass it up, just like I refuse to believe Shout doesn't have titles like WITHOUT WARNING, NEW YEAR'S EVIL or PUMPKINHEAD up their sleeve. Perhaps there'll be another batch of super announcements in time for Halloween this year. All I know is I have a feeling Shout has a boatload of other goodies in store and will reveal them throughout the year at their own pace.

^ Has anyone mentioned the possibility of Swamp Thing yet? It's MGM and I very much doubt MGM will be releasing it themselves. I noticed it's not on the list of nos on the first page of the thread.

I wonder if Zone Troopers could be on their scifi set
Come to think of it Scanners are considered Scifi films arent they...maybe the set will have
Scanners II and III with something along the lines of Zone Troopers, The Rift, Invaders from Mars , Cellar Dwellar ?? (Without Warning would be ideal ! )

Hey guys, just shot my latest DVD update which should be on my channel any minute but I discuss the screener of "Prison" that Scream Factory sent my way. I have to say, the retrospective documentary on the disc is by far the most informative and comprehensive retrospective one yet on any of the Scream Factory titles. Very unique little film that accomplished a ton in the form of visual effects considering the shoe-string budget it was made on. Really happy with this one in my collection Great job to Cliff and Red Shirt Pictures!

A bit off-topic, as it is an Arrow release (but confirmed as an eventual Shout title), but those interested in Knightriders should note that it's £9.99 on Arrow's website, today only. Shipping is free over £50, and their pre-order prices are lower than those at Amazon UK, especially after yesterday's price hikes. At $15.74, Knightriders would be a few bucks cheaper than what Shout will likely charge, and you won't have to wait until whenever Shout releases it. Region B though, as with Motel Hell, Spider Baby, Foxy Brown, and the upcoming Bavas.

Those are likely review copies sent to entities know to review videos. I've gotten releases weeks in advance from website (like Import CDs) ship copies out as soon as they get them in stock so that's another avenue to advance release copies.

Import Cds doesn't ship out blu-rays as soon as they get stock anymore. They usually only ship out the Friday before the release date.
