I posted in The Car forum, but FYI, believe it or not there is a sequel (DVD only for now) coming out 1/8/19 to Amazon. Ronny Cox is in it but I dont think he plays the same person. Its a sequel in name only...looks horrible but I have to get it.

Now I’m wondering if they’re going to send me two copies of it and none of UL:FC.
Same issue here. I just e-mailed them to see what's going on. It wouldn't have bothered me so much but there wasn't a poster included with it. We'll see what they have to say about it...

Not to get too off topic here, but with Arrow releasing Cruising next year, does that mean they now have a deal with Warner? And that also makes me wonder if SF has plans for it, too.

The postcard was found in a US release, so it would be pretty cruel for Arrow to do that and not release it Stateside. It's not beyond the realms of possibility - I think Dillinger is on the back of one set of UK postcards, and that still hasn't been released here. But I don't think it ever got a 'feature' postcard so to speak.

Nothing is known at the moment. For all we know this could be a one off with Friedkin pushing for it like Oliver Stone did with Twilight Time releasing “Heaven & Earth”.

It would be great if Universal would let Scream release these films as Collectors Editions
Even if they did have them, they would just deny it until they’re ready to announce them.

...And even then they'd prevent retailers from actually selling pre-orders or regular orders until an arbitrary point after the 1st release date when they would then decide to allow other retailers to sell on the second release date.

First people started noticing posters and lithos getting damaged. Then they marked a bunch of the limited edition Night of the Demons sets as shipped but the usps never received them (and in my case in only moving now after 2 weeks in limbo). Now they shipped the first urban legend to those who ordered final cut.

What is different in the past 4-6 weeks than before? A lot of these orders seem to have spurred by the comic con sale glitch. Could they really have gotten such an increase in orders that would throw their warehouse operations into chaos? Or is it just a bad batch of new warehouse employees? It’s hard to fathom any reason for such a quick dip in quality at the distribution level.

It's getting ridiculous. I have had 3 major problems with orders from them in the last month...and never had any problems with them before that.

I am still waiting for my Night of the Demons set (which "shipped" on October 25th)

Trick r' Treat was improperly packaged in the box under the bottom flap and the Slipcover got ruined.

I also received the Urban Legend warehouse title mix up yesterday.

So I am waiting on those 3 separate orders to be fixed now. I've been assured they will ship replacements out, which I'm sure they will eventually...but geez.

I don't know what exactly is going on with their warehouse currently, but it needs an overhaul in quality control right now.

But to clarify, did anyone get the first Urban Legend film having not ordered it? Or is it simply being sent earlier than anticipated/before the sequel that was ordered with it?

I got the shipment notification for Final Cut but it hasn't come. I'm expecting it to be the first film now.

I ordered both together, so it's some kind of mess up. I emailed them about it and they didn't understand what I was trying to tell them I guess. The reply I got said, your order of Urban Legend + Poster will be shipping soon. So I had to reply back telling them again they sent the wrong blu-ray and even sent them a picture of it. Hopefully they get it this time.

I ordered both but was charged for UL:FC although I received UL. Also, my shipping confirmation e-mail clearly lists the sequel and the $19.19 price.

My orders for Candyman and UL with poster are listed as Processing and I have a pending charge on my card so I guarantee they’re about to send me a second copy of the first movie. What a clusterf**k.

I'm not judging anyone but I'm asking---

WHY is anyone continuing to pre-order Scream titles when there are mountains of complaints on everything from late shipments, wrong product, damaged posters, etc etc?

Wouldn't it make more sense to skip the poster and wait for the titles to be released, order from someone else like Bullmoose or Amazon, and in all likelihood get a better price as well? (especially if you wait a few weeks after release...)

Maybe there's been a change in management at the company. Every time new admins come onboard they make changes that typically make things worse because they're too focused on cost-cutting. Personally, I'm staying FAR away from ordering direct and waiting for price drops from other retailers.

I just got Urban Legend with NO poster and not Final Cut which was said to be shipped...I don't know what is going on with them lately. I got Dragnet last week with an empty poster tube...

Sending a return label? Why wouldn't they just let them keep the film and send the poster on it's own/with the sequel? It sounds like everyone who received it by mistake ordered both films.

In all honesty, I ordered 5 pre-order titles the day after Comic Con with the code that wasn't supposed to work on Pre-orders and got everything super cheap.
