Who is ranking them? Amazon? Being that this is the only **known** big horror release coming out this month in the US (Preorders, imports and Vinegar Syndrome's secret titles don't count) it wouldn't surprise me if Critters is on top. Horror sells and without competition pretty much anything would do well. My copy is on it's way from Diabolik. It's expected the same day as the Ingmar Bergman set so I'm going to need a forklift to carry these

Hoping I dig it. Blind buy but figure if I don’t like it I should be able to recoup most of the cost selling it.

Lol Thanks, I don’t know how these missed me. I think my young brain just saw the posters and I just dismissed them as Gremlins ripoffs.

We are very sorry, but we will be unable to ship The Critters Collection as early as we expected. But like the surviving eggs popping open in Critters 2, we are still having production issues that are keeping us from delivering product to you on time. We are planning to get The Critters Collection to you on or before November 27. The product is in our warehouse. We will need to get both lithos rolled and packed up with the boxed set, then we can start shipping.
We are reviewing our packaging and other shipping practices and we will be making some changes in the new year.

If I had the option to cancel my Shout Factory release of this and order it on Amazon at the new price, I would be all over it. But I contacted Shout Customer service who advised there's nothing they can do once it goes to the processing stage, which I understand. It's just been a frustrating experience all the way around.

FYI, Amazon is matching Walmart on Critters. I suggest getting orders in soon, because I don’t think this will last long.

Is it a production issue with the lithos?
The rolling and prepping should/could be done before the blurays are received if the issue is with the disc manufacturer.
Also they should just bite the bullet and send out the blurays and pay the additional shipping to ship the posters later separately.

Its rolling the lithos and putting them in the tube. It's harder to place them in gentle than it is to shove them in.

I got that same email and mine SHIPPED the next day.

So funny enough I got the shipment notification before I got the "there's a delay" email. So I asked about that when I was able to get someone to respond to me on Twitter DM and they advised that the shipment notifications went out on accident and new ones should go out "late next week".

In any case, I had ordered through Amazon. Just cancelled and reordered to lock in the lower price now.

It depends. Candyman and critters are nice pieces of art. Night of the demons not so much.

I'm not a big poster guy but even if I was I can't hang them in my apartment - the walls are too hard for thumb tacks and I'm not going to start making holes. Tape doesn't seem to work either. The posters use the slipcover art so they're a little redundant IMO

I prefer the posters to the lithographs which are basically just cardboard & the creases don’t come out, at least my The Thing lithograph was in great condition. The ones for AoP13 & Escape from NY, had creases, no big deal really. Some posters I really like, the Candyman, Urban Legend & Sleepwalkers are great, the one for Valentine is great also. To each their own.
