Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it too, but if it's not easy to release, it's not going to sell nearly enough copies to justify the legal cost.
I am sure they already have a patent attorney on staff, I doubt there would be any legal battle, like I said Universal probably doesn't care anymore. and "Bans" can expire.

Hi Cliff, can you please let us know if SF has any plans for Creature (Titan Find)? It was supposed to be released by the director last year. Can you shed any light on the situation? Does MGM still have the rights? Awesome movie

If the Joshua Tree is the R rated version than it is an easy pass. That is the version to avoid... As shiny it may look and sound

Banned because it's a near ripoff of the original Jaws.

And it also included scenes that were in the original screenplay for JAWS 2, ironically Universal used a couple scene ideas from GREAT WHITE in JAWS 3-D.

Gotta love those Italians - they were always ripping off big U.S. films back in the day. Very few of those I'm able to sit through all the way but they do have a certain charm about them. Never seen Great White but I think diabolikdvd has an import out for sale right now.

So... I'm confused, blu-ray.com listing indicates "1 movie / 2 cuts", it is wrong then, right?
That's a shame

I will keep my pre-order up as I always need more Lundgren movies on BD but I'm really disappointed by this terrible news

First time Shout Factory! disappoints me.

I believe the Blu-Ray/DVD coming out is the longer cut with the extra violence. I own the movie on VHS and some of screencaps shown never appeared in the original release.

Cliff, is there still a possibility of an EXTERMINATOR 2 Blu-ray?

I know you had mentioned having an HD master of that one (versus the other three movies in that DVD bundle).

I'm still getting that DVD set for those other titles, but I would double dip for an EX2 Blu in a heartbeat.

Bad Moon is with WB, so it's a no go.
Thanks for the help. I completely forgot about checking who had the rights to those movies. Looks like they are out of the question. Maybe CMAC can help with the others.

I think I will just hold on to my NOTLD 90 dvd. The Twilight Time Blu is a bit too expensive for my blood. $80 on Amazon!!!!

It says rated R now and has a runtime of 102 minutes.

Runtimes and ratings have been known to be wrong on the site before. You could always ask CMAC though if it has the uncut stuff.

Do you guys know if Shout charges your card when you place a preorder, or just when it ships?

I'm on the verge of starting to collect all of their releases. I just hate I've missed a couple of the posters, especially They Live.

They have a unique way of doing things when you Pre-order directly from the shout site, they run a charge to see if the funds are there, which places a hold on those funds for a couple days and then you get the funds back on your account, they may do this several times depending on how far out the release date is, so basically make sure you have the funds available at all times or you could get an overdraft fee. I am hoping they eventual drop this method and just do what Amazon does, debit the funds when the item ships.

I checked on Dolph Lundgren Ultimate Fan Site, and it's the R Rated cut sadly as Socko said earlier.
That sucks
What a disappointment. I hate the R-Rated happy ending...

Lol, what? Why would a home video company keep a patent attorney on staff? And I like that you think you know what legal matters Universal does or does not care about...

You guys crack me up sometimes.

It's all but confirmed now.

They are also teasing Cannon & Sci Fi titles, Of which a sci Fi titles was78? I think, so people are speculation that there will be Lifeforce and Invasion of the body snatchers

It would appear so. Now we know where all those titles Cliff said "no" to went . I wonder what else Arrow may be cooking up... (Without Warning???)
