Loving the covers on these but likely won't bite. If it was a double feature for around $20 I'd probably be in. I miss the days when they used to combine smaller titles into double features. I discovered quite a few movies that way.

I agree that these should have been a double feature, like other ‘nature run amok”-type films they’ve released in the past.

I forget but isn't "original film elements" a Scream euphemism for something not as good as the original negative?
Like an inter positive or something?

It’s usually from the interpositive.

Well to be precise they said 'more' rather than 'much more', which makes sense. Given Kino likely have The Leech Woman, I guess Scream could have these:

This Island Earth
The Incredible Shrinking Man
Monolith Monsters
Monster on the Campus
Dr Cyclops
Cult of the Cobra

Beyond that, I sincerely hope they have some of the non sci-fi Universal stuff awaiting a release:

Curse of the Undead
Shadow of the Cat
Let's Kill Uncle
Dark Intruder

In terms of later stuff, there's No Escape and quite a few 2000s movies, along with some 70s and 90s TV movies.

Gonna have to spring for Cobra since I broke my Warner copy trying to get the disc out of the hub. At least this version will be from a new 2K scan.

I'd love to see HD upgrades of Steven Seagal films that never made it past DVD, like Fire Down Below and On Deadly Ground. I'm sure I'm forgetting others.

Looks like a "Death Becomes Her" scenario where the actors are not on board (Stallone)

An interpositive is taken directly from the original negative, so it's one step down but if the negative is not available, it's the next best thing.

Would love to have Fire Down Below on Blu-ray, as well as The Glimmer Man. (I know of at least two deleted scenes for the latter, which I used to see restored for TV airings on TBS back in the 2000s.)

Sometimes such elements just don't exist anymore.

Hugely disappointing set of extras. Oh, how I wish we could see the unrated cut, love the opening scene to this in the supermarket but then due to the cuts the rest of the film appears so disjointed. Really thought they would of got Stallone on board for this, ah well, missed opportunity.

Demolition Man should be next and those extras sound nice and all yet a shame the deleted scenes are lost.

Hope we get Child's Play 2/3 next year as those deserve the CE treatment to cash in on the new Child's Play movie.

Kino sales would bring these to about $8.99-10.99 if not potentially a little lower. Scream/Shout will keep these bad boys at $20+ a piece for a while.
