What size frame did you buy if you don’t mind me asking?

I get the $20 18x24 size frame from target, there's a few different types of frames that are 18x24 there but, I find the $20 one works best & is the most sturdy. The other 2 are made really cheap-o.

I wonder why the original VHS editions of parts 2 and 5 (and 6 for that matter) did not use the original poster art?

Night of the Creeps is very exciting because i dont have yet... in fact theres alot of movies i dont have yet only beacause scream may release it... I keep a long list of movies that could potentially come from scream... like any Universal, Warner bros, Sony, or mgm... so i refuse to buy anything generic or bareboned.. like problem child and problem child 2, fright night, childs play 2 and 3, stay tuned... etc

What's the general consensus? Announcements are done for the month, or we'll still get IFC titles on Monday? I found it odd nothing was announced Friday, but perhaps there just aren't any IFC releases planned for May.

Trick or Treat is with StudioCanal right ? I really hope that Scream licensed it and it isn't with Lionsgate.

Per the Kino Insider, I believe DEG titles are with Lionsgate in the US (unfortunately).

Just an FYI for folks that don't venture into the deals forum... Target started a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale today. Older Scream Factory titles do work as part of the sale, so if you have some older stuff you've been waiting on, you may be able to find a deal. Target stopped carrying new Scream Factory releases last July though and once they've sold through an allotment of a title the listing is also removed, so don't be surprised to find a number of titles missing. Still, it's worth a look if you don't mind spending $40 - $50 for 3 titles. (This breaks down to around $16.75 each for a $50 purchase, shipped, with free shipping having kicked in at $35 which isn't terrible for a collectors edition.)

There’s definitely deals to be had, considering Shout’s current pricing model. Buying 3 Shout titles for between $40-$50 including tax and shipping is pretty much unheard of these days.

I’ve bought 9 titles so far from the sale, but all Shout/Shout Select titles I put on the back burner. No Scream titles yet.... I’m about to see if I can find 3 that I want that I already don’t have.

IIRC, Lionsgate only has the Canal owned DEG titles they released on DVD with those previously put out through Artisan (and now most of the ones Anchor Bay had put out incl Evil dead II). Trick or Treat was one of the odd SC titles put out by Echo Bridge/Platinum Disc back in 2002 and wasn't picked up by Lionsgate/AB on DVD in recent times, so it's a possibility.

I've gone back through since placing my first order and found another 3-4 titles that I may be interested in picking up, but to be honest I'm wanting to hold off until I see what Hamilton Books has to offer this week before placing a second order with Target.

Goldenwheels (the Hamilton Book guy) said that Shout wouldn’t sell him any more product because their titles are selling well enough....

Sounds like the more popular titles are selling as well as expected, but maybe they’re just not pressing huge batches of the more obscure stuff so they’re not stuck with overstock (which is smart).

He also said that he has seen some IFC titles appear on his “shopping list”, so perhaps some of those will appear in the near future.

The “Love is in the Scare” sale should be coming this week. Could start today (SF sales often start on Mondays) or it might start on the 14th (like last year).

For reference, last year’s sale was 40% off list price on orders of $50 or more.

Is there any easier way to filter for Scream/Shout titles?

I've been able to filter by genre and I do see Scream titles showing up among everything else horror wise, but, Target's page seems rather awful, and sometimes 3-4 various titles just keep showing up on different pages of the search results. And there's also a lot of awful movies, or old, awful editions to sort through.
