Considering that title was released nearly 4 years ago I'd consider that a nice little cherry on top of an otherwise solid deal. Poltergeist II and Poltergeist III are set to arrive tomorrow and I have a fair amount of hope that both of these will arrive with slips as well. I'll be sure to report back as I know you're all like me and on the edge of your seat with anticipation.
I know that you all have been waiting with bated breath for the conclusion to my Target Buy 2 Get 1 saga and I'm glad to share today that my tale had a happy ending. Poltergeist 2 and 3 arrived today in excellent shape complete with Slip Covers. Thus concludes this epic tale.

Trilogy of Terror II was announced as coming from Kino Lorber, likely later this year though no date has officially been set.

I have no knowledge what source they've used for the release, but I have doubts about the quality. It's been on my whish-list from the beginning, but I think its better to wait and see with this one because the rumour goes that the original camera negatives been lost or destroyed.

I was thinking of pulling the trigger on Valentine since the price is starting to drop a bit but I keep hearing people having issues with the sound being extremely low. I wonder what the chances are of them doing a replacement disc for that? Is the issue serious enough for them to even consider it? Just wondering what you guys think.

Maybe he was just doing that to generate interest in it. Either way, I'd buy it, day one.
Hard to Die is one of my most wanted now that I’ve finally got Valentine in hand.

0%. It's mildly annoying but not recall worthy. I'd be shocked if they even bothered to acknowledge the issue.

It doesn't need a replacement cause it's really not a big issue. Turning up your volume a bit is all you need to do & it's far from the only BD where I've had to do that but you never see it mentioned on those other films threads. If you like the movie it's a great purchase with some great features & a good looking disc.

I've never seen Night Terrors (1993) so I have know idea if it's good (from what I've seen of the Trailer, I doubt it) but since it's a Tobe Hooper film and SF might release it someday and if they do, this poster better be on the cover!!! it's beautiful!!!

It would appear that these mediabooks are DVD-only, no blu-ray release. You get the main feature on one DVD and a bonus film with the same cast on the other.

Yeah, there’s definitely something off with the volume level of the track but it’s not recall-worthy — it’s not like there’s missing or out-of-sync audio — you just have to turn your volume waaaaay up.

I watched it last night and it was a little lower than other blu's i have. But you know how I fixed it? I turned the volume up. Most blu's 24-25 is a good volume setting for me and this one had to be set to about 29. So all one has to do is turn it up a bit more, that's what the volume knob is for.

I criticize Shout/Scream quite a bit but I'll give it to them, this was a pretty solid sale. Grabbed Creepshow, Final Exam and the 4k Night of the Demons steelbook for $55 expeditiously shipped, which I can certainly live with.

The packaging and presentation of Creepshow is fantastic; debating on buying a 2-disc case and snagging Just Dessert to make a definitive edition. That said, this recent watch didn't do a whole lot to change my opinion of the film. I'm a huge anthology fan and I've just never gotten the appeal here. The stories are all just "okay" to me even if the comic-book details are all very well-done, resulting in a serviceable horror film and nothing else.

Final Exam was a lot of fun; like The Burning from the same year, I dug how we got to spend a lot of time with pretty relatable characters before $hit gets real. The atmosphere for a small, desolate college was palpably foreboding.

Won't crack Night of the Demons until Halloween, but this is one of my favorite horror films of its decade...just ridiculously fun in all aspects. I wasn't going to spring for the 4k but the uptick was enough to go for Shout's pricing, and I'll probably be able to flip their earlier release for what I paid for it.

All in all, this time, thank you Scream.

I'm willing to pay shout's ransom pricing to get Freddy Got Fingered on blu. What are the chances of that happening?

I feel like this is more up Criterion's alley.

Only somebody like them or Vinegar Syndrome could do the movie justice. Or maybe Arrow.

NOTD is one I've inexplicably never seen. I've had it on my wishlist for a long time but the trailer has never blown me away and I've seen quite a few average reviews so I've never pulled the trigger.

Maybe I'll finally jump on it since I trust your taste in movies for the most part
