I'd like to see a good Blu release (any Blu release, really) of The Wraith, with Charlie Sheen. Any chance Scream might get this one?

Not really sure, but imdb says lionsgate distributed the DVD, so probably not (can somebody else confirm?).

You could import the expensive Japanese disc. It's 1080i though and not a huge upgrade over the dvd,

I agree, I actually got it new for this a long time ago on Amazon.ca, what a great movie.

Also regarding these Scream Factory releases, are the Collector's Editions the only releases with Slips?

I see I've fallen behind. I haven't bought any Scream Factory releases since the original five (The Funhouse, Halloween 2, Halloween 3, Terror Train and They Live). Are Import CDs still the cheapest place to buy their releases from?

Amazon drops the newer ones down to $19.99.

All of the ones that I have preordered have dropped down to that.

If you are ordering several titles, then Family Video might be a cheaper option.

Shipping is $1.99 flat, and Scream Factory titles are $17.99 each.

ImportCDs charges $2.99 shipping for the first item, plus an additional $1.49 for each title.

Has anyone ever asked about/suggested a Scream Trailer Collection extra? Even a couple of extra trailers would be cool, although I really enjoy the longer collections like on the Arrow Black Sunday and the Shout 50's sci-fi triple-feature. The Nest on Terror Vision/The Video Dead might drum up some extra sales/interest, or director/producer/actor-connected ones like They Live and Halloween II and/or III on The Fog, or even just Piranha on The Howling, for example. I know the other Phantasm trailers will be on II, but a few HD trailers from other Scream releases would be a nice little extra going forward. And how about not including the 'Collector's Edition' and/or 'Combo' text on the original art reverse? That would help greatly with the retro vibe of the original art, and you'd still have that aspect advertised on the new cover and the slip.

I don't know if anyone else has experienced issues with the Blu-rays from SF, and it's nothing that is a dealbreaker for me, but it seems like with just about every SF release, the menus are quite buggy, especially if I've ahd the Blu-ray in my player for a while.

Sometimes my menus are blanked out and I have to reinsert the disc to get it to work, that was the case with They Live, H2, and Terror Train.

I was just going through The Video Dead's extras, was listening to the first commentary, switched to the second, and the cursor from the menu never disappeared during the film, and it wouldn't go past a certain point in the film, so I had to take it out and reinsert.

Again, nothing dealbreaking, but the bugginess is a tad frustrating.

Well, I finally got the slip cover that I was missing for The Funhouse... but it's the DVD version. My friend bought me the DVDs of the H2, H3 and Funhouse collector's editions because the local FYE is going out of business, and she didn't know I already owned them on Blu. So I now have custom-made combo packs of H2, H3 and Funhouse.

Still waiting on my TerrorVision/The Video Dead double feature to arrive. If it doesn't come Monday, I'll email Shout Factory to find out what's wrong. Then I'll (almost) have the complete collection so far (I still need to get They Live).

That's how almost all of mine are. It's never been bad enough to the point where I had to reload the disc, but the menus are pretty slow. Lol. And if I'm watching a special feature and want to go back to the main menu, I have to hit the 'skip' button, 'cause when I press 'menu', nothing happens. Lol. But I agree, it's nothing deal-breaking, just slightly frustrating.

I also would of love Night of the Living Dead, but after hearing bad things about the transfer, I didn't want to pay the prices for it.

Thats what's been putting me off Twilight Times, hearing mediocre things about the transfers and they charge a high price.

They should take a leave from Scream Factory.
Concerning the bolded part, I will say that the only Twilight Time transfer that had a lot of controversy was Night Of The Living Dead, and that was Sony which was behind the color tampering. Their transfers, while being entirely dependent on what they're given, have usually been top notch...

OK, thanks for that. Night of the Living Dead has been the only release from Twilight Times that I've been interested in.

Who at Sony thought it would be fun to start doing some work with the color timing on NOTLD...that is the weird thing.

I haven't had any issues with the menus. I've watched all of the releases so far except They Live, The Island, and The Nest. Have you tried upgrading your firmware?

They added The Burning and Terror Vision to Netflix streaming, both in HD.
