My copy is due tomorrow! Maybe even today. Never got a shipping confirmation from Shout, though. You have to go into your account and check the status, which sucks if you're always forgetting your password like I do

What is going on with The Street Fighter Collection at Amazon.com? Just a supply issue? I had to confirm that I still want it, and there is no shipping date. It's also not available for order. I see others have it in stock.

Probably. I had to confirm I wanted Vampire Hunter D when it was on sale cheap. Wasn't scheduled to be delivered till Dec. when I had to confirm. It's 3 stops away being delivered now. Amazon is wonky. They Also shipped Sheena today even though it wasn't supposed to ship till the 6th of April.

It would be interesting, but I definitely wouldn't pay the Shout premium for it. I'm a fan of some pretty bad horror movies but House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, etc. These are on another level of bad. Which is too bad because they could have had potential.

I had pre-ordered The Street Fighter Collection through Amazon.ca and was starting to worry about when it was going to ship, as it's still "Unavailable to Purchase" even after release.

My pre-order did ship last night though, so they must have 'some' copies coming in. Weird that .com doesn't have any though. I expect that from .ca, but I'd assume .com would have better availability.

Haha, they are bad but I actually enjoy House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark and the first Bloodrayne. Although, I probably wouldn't find myself paying Scream prices for those, I think Mill Creek prices would be more acceptable.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed any news about it. I completely forgot I had Sheena ordered from them too. Mine says arriving Friday...

Scream Factory Posted about an Hour ago that both Quatermass II & Quatermass and the pit are delayed. Previous release date was 05/14, new release date is now 07/30. They cite problems with the film transfers as the reason for the delay. Quatermass will be fine, but QII is "going to require some more digging into". Apparently the final film reels were damaged.

Remains to be seen if it will impact the number of new titles we get in July now.

Interesting - Brainscan coming out via Millcreek as a double feature with Mindwarp. I never bought Shout's Brainscan but might be worth thinking about before making a purchase. Will likely be a fraction of the price, plus it's a double feature.

I'm beginning to wonder, has there been any Shout/Scream releases this year that have actually released on the date when the title was first announced? If true, there can't be that many...

...but I'm sure I'll be proven wrong by someone.

I decided to watch Galaxy of Terror tonight. This was my first ever viewing. I had heard plenty about the film over the years but only within the last month or two did I get around to picking it up along with Forbidden World. I... was not impressed. Even at 81 minutes the film felt long to me. I appreciate what it tried to do with the budget it had and I really can't say that the acting or budget restrictions really had any negative impact on my enjoyment... it just didn't feel like it went anywhere. Can't say I'd ever bother upgrading this one if it made its way into the Scream Factory lineup with a new scan/features. I also don't see myself rushing to revisit this one anytime soon, but whenever I do finally get around to watching it again I hope that with lowered expectations my 2nd viewing experience is a better one.

Funny... I have yet to watch that one too. I've seen Forbidden World, and of course Battle Beyond the Stars, but for some reason, Galaxy of Terror hasn't made itself a priority for me yet.

I thought that was strange, too. Brainscan was a top want of mine for years and years, and now we have two releases very close to each other. I have the SF release, but I'm digging the other Mill Creek announcements, especially all that 90s stuff...

Definitely makes me think twice about ordering anything Shout/Sony right out of the gate (except Candyman, I was okay with that). I'll probably wait on any of those titles to see what happens. Agreed on the Mill Creek announcements! great stuff.
