Sometimes my menus are blanked out and I have to reinsert the disc to get it to work, that was the case with They Live, H2, and Terror Train.

I was just going through The Video Dead's extras, was listening to the first commentary, switched to the second, and the cursor from the menu never disappeared during the film, and it wouldn't go past a certain point in the film, so I had to take it out and reinsert.

Again, nothing dealbreaking, but the bugginess is a tad frustrating.
I always have problems with the Halloween flicks.

A ton of MGM films are on netflix. These have been streaming in HD for awhile. Because they both had HD masters due to being on MGM-HD. They've been on Netflix for a pretty long time.

By the way, even though Cliff denied it...
DOLLS was on MGM-HD a while back, and it looked great.

I've also had issue's with the Halloween menus and Deadly Blessing's menu. I updated the system and they worked fine. Then I watched The Video Dead/TerrorVision, and the highlights on the menu didn't pop up. I updated it again and they now work fine.

Update the firmware... It seems like the best solution especailly for PS3 users

I haven't had any issues with the menus on any of my Scream Factory titles on my Sony BDP S370.

Hmm really? I think they only popped up for me recently because I watched Toxic Avenger.

Still no art for The Howling yet? I hope they post it on FB soon after the announcement.

I know, right? Ever since they said it would be posted soon, I've been anticipating it...

Im with you. I used to really, really love it when I was a kid. When I watched it recently, I just found myself liking it. Still a good film and great having it in my collection though!

I watched The Funhouse for the first time last year and I'm mixed on it. I love the first half (esp the start with the boy obsessed with horror), but didn't like the 2nd half much. The slasher elements where disappointing to me.

I feel the opposite about The Funhouse. I love it more each time I see it.

When I saw it on cable as a kid, I didn't think much of it. But then I picked up the DVD and saw it in 2.35:1 widescreen, and I fell head over heels in love with it. I think it's one of the most atmospheric horror films ever made.

I am not the biggest The Funhouse fan either, I like it but not one of my favorites. I remember a while back on this thread when one user posted a question asking for feedback on if we(us SF community) thought he/she would like The Town who Dreaded Sundown or not. He/She stated how they did not like The Funhouse or Terror Train. Another user replied "if you don't like The Funhouse or Terror Train who probably won't like e Town who Dreaded Sundown". I didn't reply at the time but I found that reply funny because I don't really care for The Funhouse or Terror Train but absolutely love The Town Who Dreaded Sundown...it just really goes to show you can't really lump any movies together in order to predict a liking or disliking of any other film.

I don't think The Funhouse is a brilliant movie but I am oddly drawn to it pretty regularly. It's got great replay value in my opinion. Not necessarily I'll go back to with the sole intention of sitting back and watching it from start to finish without distractions. Infact quite the opposite. I really enjoy having it on in the background while I'm relaxing and using my phone etc.

Well worth the purchase. I got the arrow release for $10 shipped and I'm really happy with that

For me that movie is special since it's the first movie I've seen in a theatre when I was a kid. I was only 12, but my mother was cool enough to let me watched this film in a triple features program with An American Werewolf in London and Dead & Buried...

When I think it cost me only one dollars in those days to watch 3 movies

I've seen THE FUNHOUSE for many years and at this time I regard it as a very good horror film... it was always a film that was either a strong 3 stars (good) or 4 stars (very good)...

after seeing all the crap that's been relased for the last decade... I appreciate the film more...

The Funhouse is probably my #2 favorite amongst the currently available Scream Factory releases behind Halloween III. The problem it has is it's really nothing like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (although Universal capitalized on the fact that Tobe Hooper had directed both films) and it never, ever should've been placed on the Video Nasties list in the UK (it was mistaken for The Last House on Dead End Street which had an alternate title, The Fun House). I think it's probably disappointed many a horror fan because this is no gorefest. It's a relatively high-budgeted, low gore horror film (which sort of makes it the Anti-TCM) that makes the most of it's setting and has some cool Rick Baker makeup.

With all this talk about The Funhouse, it makes me want to re watch it. I really hope the movie grows on me, cause I do love the setting and as I said before, love the first half.

I received Prison and Terror Vision/Video Dead today and have just finished with Video Dead. First off Scream have done great with the transfer, I thought it was pretty good. I also loved the main menu. As for the movie I really had alot of fun with it. It was cheesy, the zombies looked awesome, had cool gore and I liked the characters and it all worked. It dragged abit, but still a really fun movie.

I'm looking forward to Terror Vision and Prison.
