Hope so as well. Maybe that will be one of the titles they announce at Comic-Con?

With May 1st being on Wednesday, when do folks think we'll get the next round of announcements? This week seems possible though next week I feel is more likely. These could/should be insightful for the rest of 2019 and possibly even into 2020. It was the August batch in 2018 that gave us confirmation of some of the new deals in place and of course it's the lead in into the fall season so I have slightly higher hopes than usual this year that we'll see a wave 2 from the Warner deal that will give us more of the titles most of us originally thought we'd see.

I think they might start on Wednesday, though it's possible they might wait until next week given that they could easily announce 2-3 titles a day (including Select) and get everything done by Thursday/Friday.

I just want them to get those Corman steelbook double-dips out the way. I have a feeling we're due three more (Galaxy of Terror, Forbidden World, Death Race 2000).

Hmmm... Could it be a Corman filled week possibly? Those 3 steelbooks would go awfully great with a Sorority House Massace 2/Hard to die double feature. (or dare I dream individual collectors editions).

3 double-dip steelbooks in one month? I have to think I wouldn't be the only one pissed off with that. One is fine I think. Scream just need to learn the key to everything is balance and moderation. I appreciate there will always be issues involved, but at the same time I don't think it would be that hard to please most people and avoid the kinds of arguments we've had on this thread over the past few pages.

The Pit and The Pendulum, Castlefreak, The Lurking Fear, Creepozoids, Meridian, Tourist Trap (Uncut), Sorority Babes in the Slime Ball Bowl-o-rama, and Subspecies. I'd love a Scream Factory Box set of the Puppet Master films as well.

Yes these are all double dips, Yes I already own every one of them, but every single film would benefit from a re-release and would fit perfectly with the Scream Factory Brand. I also feel that Band would be a fool not to pursue such a partnership as he himself could/would continue to sell his stripped down editions while making money by allowing Scream Factory to release their own.
A double BRD of Kraa and Zarkorr would be very welcome. I also see a lot of other interesting films.

It's happened before, but I'm not sure if it'll ever happen again. Band's trustworthiness, as a business partner, seems to leave a lot to be desired. I'm not sure that there'd be much financial incentive for Band to consider a licensing deal, either, unless Shout! Factory were to buy Full Moon, outright. QC issues aside, he seems to be doing well enough, on his own.

Don't laugh, but I think someone managed to get it out of the small crack. I'm open to other theories

I think it was stolen. I bought a cheap new version of Willow a few months ago. The guy was selling them...and others...without the digital code. This was specified in the auction. I received an almost completely sealed blu ray. Just the bottom was sliced open. He was able to get that out with just that little slice.

Both getting new 4K scans while the director's cut of Forbidden World is getting a new 2K scan. The previous release only had the director's cut on a DVD disc.

I haven't been bothering upgrading to any of the 4K Blu Steelbooks just cause I have to settle somewhere, but I might make a exception for the Forbidden World just for the director's cut.

That artwork makes these movies seem far more epic than they are. Not sure if Corman approved the covers, but he should be proud.

Isn't the DC taken from a VHS?

At this point, I predict Starcrash and Battle Beyond the Stars next month, and Death Race 2000 announced in July.

Still waiting on my Carnosaur set, Shout...

I think they finally tracked down a film print of the Director's Cut from the lab it was housed at.

But i'm game for both steelbooks.
