Hopefully Scream can make a deal with Disney (And Paramount!). If anyone can do it, they can!

Very recently the Kino Insider also said that as things stand they won't be releasing any more ABC TV horror movies from their Disney deal, due to legal problems and issues with materials. Who knows if The Midnight Hour was one such title they seemingly had to scrap, but I'm not hopeful.

I, too, would love The Midnight Hour. Sadly, there are many other similar titles under the Disney umbrella that will likely never see the light of day on Blu-ray.

Absolutely agree, and even though they have a similar subject matter, Carrie is a grounded, "could happen in your neighborhood" type of vibe, whereas The Fury is a government conspiracy level film, much like Firestarter.

I agree that Evil Dead 2 doesn't need one. Both the Lionsgate Blu-Ray and the UHD are pretty good. I'm just making a joke, based on Scream's history of releasing films that already had quality Blu-Ray releases prior (not to ignore, of course, that a number of these did end up being improvements), along with knowing that there are a number of people whose heads probably would explode if that comes to pass.

The Alligator People is actually a pretty good movie for most of the running time, he doesn't go full gator like that until the very end. Admittedly, the full gator suit is silly, but the makeup while he's transitioning is pretty creepy.

I think you will find it very entertaining if you go in with the right mindset. It definitely helps if you like 50's sci-fi and horror. It does take a bit to get to the alligator stuff but I have had the hots for Beverly Garland since I was a kid and Lon Chaney Jr. is one of my favorite actors so it is not a problem for me....

Stylish ? I don't know about that. They look a bit tight around the waist, the tailor must have been in a big hurry to get the measuring done for some reason !
