It was Shout! Factory's attempt to try a Twilight Time-like sales model: limited quantities sold exclusively on their site for $30 each. Deathstalker I/II sold out the fastest but the other films, mostly second and third tier Corman titles, sold poorly; they pretty much abandoned the concept soon after the first run.

There's no Scream rep on here. It's almost certain they have those three titles (along with about 10-15 more Hammer titles), so we'll see them next year if not this.

Would love to see Scars of Dracula, Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde, and The Mummy's Shroud, Curse of Frankenstein, and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell, announced sooner than later!

Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell aside (it's with Paramount), all of those titles will likely be with Scream.

All of these will probably be announced this week (along with a Corman steelbook or two)

I agree. I also agree that they should have used an actor that audiences love as a good guy against type. Like how the public loves Dick Van Dyke and can't imagine him as evil.
It worked with Mary Tyler Moore, America's sweetheart, as a cold ***** in Ordinary People.

Anyone see the Wynorski post on FB this weekend? He states something to the effect that Scream Factory "dissed" him online for creating the Sorority House Massacre II/Hard to Die double feature artwork. He seems to insinuate that SF is angry at him for doing that, and have not released the films for this reason.

I speculated this was the reason we haven't seen that release yet. SF is withholding to spite the guy. Pretty grimy.

cmac (Cliff MacMillan) visits regularly. He just doesn’t post much. He wouldn’t answer questions about unannounced titles anyway.

Yeah, Scream themselves basically confirmed that. They don't deny having the titles, they just stated, "To be fair, we never announced having these titles. The director took it upon himself last year in a FB post to announce them with fake art he'd made himself."

Thank goodness they didn't do the same thing when director Gary Sherman leaked about "Vice Squad" early. Probably only because they know that's a major title.

I always felt they punished all of us a couple of years ago when "Hell Night" leaked early. They deliberately didn't announce it at ComicCon, and delayed it by several months to 'punish' us all for spreading that leaked info.
