Good to know. I bought mine just this last....October? when I spotted it at Best Buy for around $16.

BUT, it still had a slipcover too, so, possibly pressed early enough I'll need to contact them about a replacement.

Damn, I forgot Child's Play had an audio issue, although I've watched mine a couple times and didn't notice anything. I bought it directly from Scream at the end of 2017. According to this thread, the corrected disc has "L0 L1" on the bottom inner ring of the disc. It's really hard to see, and I had to angle a flashlight on mine, but it looks like my disc as "L0" on one side of the ring and "L1" on the other side, but they're not together, so I don't know if I have the original disc or the corrected one.

No it was someone on Ebay selling it. Not official, but the quality is very good. If an official Region 1 release comes out, I'll get it, but until then this bootleg is much better than the Artisan DVD which is hard to get and in fullscreen, the bootleg is HD widescreen.

Alone in the Dark (1982) (not on blu-ray yet)
Black Christmas (2006) (has a Canadian release)
The Terminator
Joy Ride
Thirteen Ghosts (2001)
Ghost Ship
The Hitcher (1986)
The Hitcher (2007)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
Sorority House Massacre 2/Hard to Die (Not on Blu-Ray yet)
I’d buy all of these

I think my biggest want on Blu-ray from Scream Factory has to be The Fly 2 hell i'd even take The Fly again with a new scan. Someone mentioned Terminator and I'd definitely buy that one again one of my favorite movies of all time and Bride of Chucky i'd buy too.

I'm always holding out hope for a Spookies release with an in-depth retrospective documentary, of course it'd be much more likely to come from Vinegar Syndrome than Scream Factory if it ever happens.

That's another announcement that I'd go nuts for and would make for an easy day one purchase.

Just watched The Town that Dreaded Sundown (1976) for the first time and I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be picking up the SF blu ray.

Wasnt there an issue with the film that makes labels not want to touch it? I could be thinking of a different movie though.

Why wouldn't it happen?

You do know that Second Sight have a deal directly with Rubinstein and his New Amsterdam Entertainment, right? Their press releases have said as much. They even thanked Rubinstein publicly for allowing them access to the original film materials - the original negative for Dawn of the Dead and a dupe negative for Martin.

Second Sight's update was less than 14 days ago, on May 30. It said that the grading was completed and the restoration underway, which they expected to take a couple of months.

As for your claim that it will never be available on BD, well, the Italians already released a new BD last year. Based on old transfers, for sure, except for the Argento Cut, which was a fresh scan. The French have also just released their own BD collection including a 4K UHD, based on a scan of an IP.

Second Sight, however, seem so far to be the only ones to have gained access to the original negative.

Now, if you by 'never' meant 'in the USA', then yes, you may be right. For all we know Rubinstein still wants a small fortune for the US rights.

Second Sight have only negotiated the UK rights for Dawn and have confirmed that their BDs will be locked to region B (though their 4K UHD will of course still be region free as regions do not exist on UHD).

Patiently waiting on Pump up the Volume (Shout Select), Cry Wolf and Turistas. Also, what gives with The Beach (2000)? Leo Dicaprio, directed by Danny Boyle. Not an award winner, but still one of my favorite movies and very surprising it never saw the light of day on blu.

So I just watched Deadly Friend last night because I haven't seen seen it and having seeing all the hype about it on here... but I have to say... I thought it was just ok... the basketball ball head smash was the only real good part... but the rest kind of fell flat for me... felt like it was missing something... and there was no real big pay off event at the end... I still think People Under the Stairs was his best movie... sorry :/ the only way I'd buy this "if Scream ever releases" is if Kristy Swanson does a new interview for it..

Not saying it's a bad movie.. guess I just had too high of expectations... really wanted to like it way more than I did...

Don't know about Clifford, but the other three all have quality Blu-ray releases.

I don't think titles like My Bloody Valentine, Martin, and Dawn of the Dead would qualify for a "light" month comment. They don't own rights to any of those.

That would be the "heaviest" month even if it just included those titles
