Managed to find the Army of Darkness steelbook at a local B&N, with my discount it was about $12. Also impulse bought When a Stranger Calls Back, although I'm kicking myself a bit on that once since it looks like there's a region free UK release. Oh well.

I really lucked out at this B&N, never seen so many Shout Factory and Arrow titles in one place. I managed to also get The Entity and The Body Snatcher on Friday.

Hey Scream Factory, it's time to give us a nice new scan of Tremors.

Tons of releases at HamiltonBooks for $10 or less, some for only $4. Lots of great releases to be picked up. I ordered some newer releases for decent prices but nothing compared to these prices.

I would love a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Collector's Edition from Scream. I'd like to see Scream on this list, but I'll take IKWYDLS as a conciliatory CE...

I believe the Jaws films are off limits so that one seems unlikely. I'd also add that if we get an announcement for Child's Play 2, we are all but guaranteed to get an announcement for child's Play 3 at the same time. I don't think either will materialize at Comic con this year, but whenever they do finally show up I'd expect them both to be announced at the same time.

Other than those two observations though I feel like your list is pretty solid and certainly within the realm of possibility.

I still feel like if the WB deal is renewed we'll eventually see The Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome from Shout/Scream Factory at some point as well. Those could make for an interesting NECA partnership if they could secure the licensing.

With all the Hammer announcements from Scream Factory, does anyone know who controls the Tyburn films? There were 4 films I believe and none have had a good release:

1. Persecution (1974) with Lana Turner
2. The Ghoul (1975) with Peter Cushing and John Hurt
3. Legend of the Werewolf (1975) with Peter Cushing
4. The Masks of Death (1984) - Peter Cushing & John Mills as Holmes & Watson

Considering the star power and with The Ghoul and Legend of the Werewolf having a similar feel to Hammer I'd love for someone to put these out. I've only seen Werewolf and the DVD I have is a bad VHS rip, I've heard The Ghoul DVD on Amazon is even worse.

I'd love a Carnosaur box set, the DVDs are long OOP.

Haven't there already been at least two Chucky Blu-ray box sets released by Universal in the last 5 years? Were they both barebones? I'd probably pick up an extras-packed Chucky box set that contains new scans of ALL the films, not just Parts 2 and 3 but I still feel like these have been done to death.

I would definitely buy reissues of The Road Warrior and Thunderdome without batting an eye. Still can't help but salivate at the prospect of both films landing on 4K UHDs, though. Road Warrior alone needs a fancy Collector's Edition

Child's Play 2 and 3 were barebones, the others had quite a few special features. Plus Scream did a Collector's Edition of Child's Play.

Do you think there a good chance of Scream Factory announcing either The Omen sequels or A Nightmare on Elm Street sequels for CE at Comic Con?

Kevin Francis (son of Freddie) controls the Tyburn catalogue, and has long been infamous in terms of his excessive (apparently not to him, it should be said) demands for anyone wishing to licence the films for release (hence why we haven't had official releases). Last year the Peter Cushing Appreciation Society claimed that a reputable label had finally made a breakthrough and were preparing releases, but that was some time ago and we've heard nothing since. I know at least Scorpion, Kino and Indicator have tried with no apparent success, and I really can't imagine they're alone down the years. It should be said that Kino and Indicator seem oblivious to any recent developments regarding an apparent licencing deal, suggesting that rumour may be just that. Certainly, you feel that if we don't hear anything by the end of the year it must have been bogus (that or the elements could be posing difficulties).

The Tyburn catalogue is probably my most holiest of grails at this point, so I'm ever hopeful. Perhaps some label will eventually cough up the money, or, more likely, Kevin will have to lower his demands.
