I would pay full retail price for an elm street box set with new 4k scans and similar design as the halloween box set.

A Nightmare on Elm Street box set in the vein of the Halloween set would be awesome. Would also love Jason goes to Hell uncut. Wasn’t Alone in the Dark teased a whole back. If they put out all three of those then it would feel like 2015 all over again.

Did anyone NOT get an email from the Barnes and Noble sale?

I was logged in to my B&N account when I ordered. And it IS shipped as of the 17th (should arrive tomorrow), but....never got an email.

Yes, I ordered 2 items and both shipped/arrived individually (1 via USPS and the other UPS, oddly enough) - never received any type of shipping confirmation email on either.

I was not logged in when I purchased and paid by paypal but still got an e-mail 1 day after placing my order. It might be worth double checking to ensure that they have your e-mail address correct.

What were the differences with the Unrated version again? Was it just additional gore, or were there actual scenes/moments that made it a better movie than the standard version?

All my B&N email confirmations got directed to my email spam. Had to unflag those on my email account.

I'll check my spam later. Not a huge deal. I can log in and track the package, AND, UPS sent me a delivery notice email so I can track that too.

Just weird, since I always get their ads/promotional emails. And even while I was taking the time to debate dropping the money, I got a reminder email of "Hey, you have these items in your cart. You should finish checkout."

Doubt it, both are Disney titles and Scream have showed no sign of striking a deal with them.

Disney set specific terms for their deal with Kino and those two - among a host of others unfortunately - didn't meet that criteria (the Touchstone/Hollywood Pictures/Buena Vista titles had to be licenced out to other companies - namely Mill Creek - in the past to be eligible)

I personally hope Mill Creek no longer gets any more titles to release. Quite frankly, I'll take BD-Rs over their extremely poor quality of pressed releases. Especially as of late.

The unrated version has the best kill in the series (hell, probably the best kill in ANY movie). I enjoy how bats*** crazy this movie is, but that "camper split" is the ultimate reason to watch it.

There have been some solid releases recently. The Eyes of Veronica Mars looks great as did their Ghosts of Mars release. Krull is probably one of their best releases.
