I find it interesting that I want a proper release for a film that I don't think is all that good and its for the reason you mention. Jason Goes to Hell is a disappointment but the Unrated version has one of the greatest kills ever in a slasher.

Admittedly they have put out some quality releases in the past too. Another Stakeout, My Father the Hero, The Marrying Man, Father Hood, just to name a few. I'm just shocked at how bad some of their releases have been lately. It's painful.

That was kinda the reason behind my asking about the differences. Cuz...I wasn't big on JASON GOES TO HELL back when I saw it on premium cable in the 90s. Re-watched it a couple years ago when I got the F13 collection....liked it even less.

BUT, sometimes a single, super crazy, super violent scene can make the rest of the flic worth the slog.

Lol, while I’ll admit that Kristen Bell has some very beautiful eyes, the name of the film is Eyes of Laura Mars, not Veronica Mars.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (CE)
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (CE)
Child's Play 2 (CE)
Tremors (CE)
The Descent (CE)
Arachnophobia (CE)
The Hills Have Eyes (2006) (CE)
Cabin Fever (CE)
Silver Bullet (CE)
The Midnight Hour
Them

I would be down for Silver Bullet, Tremors, and American Werewolf in London. Umbrella (australia) has a pretty good region free release

Silver Bullet so seems like an obvious Scream Factory release- it pretty much fits their model to a tee.

I hope Mill Creek does continue to release cheap Hammer double features from Columbia pictures. I like SF for special Hammer movies and I know Revenge of Frankenstein which is with MC would fit that bill, but I'm super-happy to get some Hammer titles in these serviceable double feature packages.

Silver Bullet is with Paramount in the US so I wouldn't hold my breath for that one to be announced.

Have the special features for "Strays" been announced yet? Not that I'm expecting a whole lot, but the release comes out in less than a month, and I can't find any info.

Thanks!

This title is Dimension/Miramax so this is controlled by Lionsgate.

It would probably be part of the Vestron Series from Lionsgate.

The region-free Umbrella release is great. Cheap, too.

Someone mentioned the TV movie The Midnight Hour. This is a favorite from my junior high days, and I would buy the Blu-ray without hesitation.

Quick question guys....

If I ordered Night Of The Creeps from Amazon this Monday or tuesday... will I FOR SURE get a slipcover with the order? Haven't bought a scream factory from Amazon so early in its release so I just want to be sure. Thanks.

Yep. Slips are guaranteed for the first 3 months after release. If it doesn't arrive with a slip contact shout factory.

Laid to Rest never received a legitimate U.S. Blu-ray. The director sells BD-Rs and imports on FB, but I definitely wouldn't mind a solid CE for the film.
