With all the recent studio(US) connections Scream has, they could assemble a BR collection of Hammer's catalogue that would DEFINE studio catalogue releases.

I would guess the Mill Creek films "could be had"?

Salivating for an April Fool's Day Blu-ray! But Let's Scare Jessica To Death is a pretty awesome start.

I’d love to see Scream release FIRE IN THE SKY if they did indeed make a deal with Paramount.

Yes, just what everyone has been asking for from a Paramount deal. More Hammer films. Can't say that we haven't had enough of those in recent months.

If you want to see a meltdown of Code Red proportions on this board, Scream Factory just needs to announce a couple of Hammer titles from Paramount and nothing else for October/SDCC.

A friend of mine ordered from them recently and had the same experience. It's strange, I would expect more from a larger company like them. I've actually had better experiences ordering directly from Bananaman. I'm probably in the minority there, but that's been my experience.
I recently had to deal with an issue with an order being shipped to a different address than I had given (a fictional one, no less, which resulted in it getting shipped back to the warehouse), and had to deal with less-than-ideal customer service in getting it fixed ("You should stop using fictional addresses for online orders." was the opening line in one of the e-mails they sent me). To their credit, I did finally get a hold of someone whom tried to fix it without coming across as condescending or rude, and everything did get straightened out. It was just a headache overall.

I could see the original and the remake, but yeah, outside of that, I really don't see the sequels getting the 4K treatment. That said, I don't feel like the series is really lacking in extra content, especially if you have the Never Sleep Again release. Not saying that there isn't room for more (again, I'd be OK with a set like the Halloween set), but it's not exactly bare bones, either.

I have no doubt that they'd rope me in for both... the idea of a Halloween inspired Nightmare set is FAR too enticing for me to pass up, and 4k presentations of the films will be something I inevitably am interested in as well.
If that happened, I'd probably do what I did with my Halloween set, and just switch out the cases, so I could include the 4K disc in the deluxe box set as well.

Me too, man. It's the top of my list. I would love to see what kind of collector's edition Scream could put out. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but fingers crossed it's a possibility! And yes, Let's Scare Jessica to Death IS an awesome start.

There are a number of Paramount DVDs that, like Let's Scare Jessica to Death, are currently OOP and/or weren't reissued since the Warner distribution deal ended. My guess is that those might be the titles that are being made available to Shout! Factory, at this time. I think the people looking for a new F13 boxset are likely to be disappointed, but the title selection could be fairly strong.

Targets (1967)
Captain Kronos – Vampire Hunter (1974)
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974)
Bug (1975)
The Tenant (1976)
Orca: The Killer Whale (1977)
Prophecy (1979)
My Bloody Valentine (1981)
The Fan (1981)
April Fool's Day (1986)
Graveyard Shift (1990)
Body Parts (1991)
Fire in the Sky (1993)

There's probably others, but that's what I'm coming up with, at this time.

Unless I'm mistaken, they can now - in theory of course - do a gigantic box-set containing every Hammer film (or at least, the genre ones). Between Hammer, Warner, Sony, Fox, StudioCanal, Universal and now Paramount (just two btw folks: Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell and the great Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter), I'm pretty sure that's everything. And I don't know how many films that would be (50ish?), but it would be something truly awesome to behold.

Of course, it will almost certainly never happen (I doubt those who've bought the single releases would be pleased, then there's the practicalities and logistics to consider), but an interesting thought nonetheless.

A Paramount deal would bring quite a few great opportunities. More importantly, of unreleased or OOP titles. My Bloody Valentine probably being the biggest in my opinion but would also buy stuff like Orca!

So how is Scream Factory going to punish us for the leak of Let's Scare Jessica to Death? Delay it six months? Drop it all together?

They'll deny there's a deal, of course, then raise MSRPs to $39.99

A Paramount deal would be amazing. So many things for the Scream line. I hope they try and get Foul Play. Love that movie.

If in deed Paramount is now in the deal, and they do KING KONG. It would be nice if 2 versions were released - the original theatrical, and the longer Network edition; in widescreen.
Now, that would be nice.

A complete Dracula and Frankenstein set would be nice to have. The Universal Hammers could use some updated bonus features such as including the TV versions, not just the extra scenes, but the entire cut. Evil of Frankenstein plays a little differently with it all together.
