I think its Scream Factory quality, NINJA 3 is a very supernatural movie. A woman is possessed in it!!! I'd say it constitutes horror...

And the art for the howling is gorgeous...

Is there any way you can go back and get "MS. 45" from the rightsholder?? I would love to see it on blu-ray and now that the top dogs at Shout know it'll sell they might have a change of heart, even if its a little violent or a tad graphic...

Pretty please, for me, Cliff? Lol.

Maybe scream should try and get the rights to Ghost(1990) That has ghost haunting a woman.
What about Topper.
Most of all i would like a CE of that great ghost movie Carousel(1956) all non horror films with supernatural elements.i just wish Horrorhound had put Beautiful Creatures on the cover rather than Christine.

ok im being daft to illustrate a point but there all as valid as ninja 3.

I have to agree. Ninja 3 should be a shout title.

Maybe they should form another division -- Sho Factory.

I really couldn't care less about this label/division business myself. In fact, I'm so excited about this news that I took the time to physically pinch myself.

This is Ninja 3: The Domination, people. One of Cannon's absolute masterpieces of wretched delights. For those who haven't seen it, I beg you, don't spoil the experience -- buy it on day one along with the requisite case of beer and see its glory the right way.

TGG Direct, purveyors of lovely bargain-bin (or is it dollar store?) DVDs, and now apparently double-feature DVDs, will be reissuing MIRACLE MILE on, yes, DVD later this year along with some other as-yet-unknown film. I was hoping Shout would get their hands on this one and release it on Blu-ray. You know that long list of titles Cliff said "no" to (posted a few postes above)? Now we know where some of those may end up. On DVD. It feels like it's 1998.

I think NINJA should be in Scream, only because it is borderline action/horror. Ms. 45 or Nightwing and Vice Squad have been begged for in here, and they're classic 80s action/thrillers. So why can't NINJA 3 be one????

I don't think THE DOMINATION will open the gates for, say, comedies, romance, or kiddie movies. Its on the border of Shout and Scream, and its going to get excellent treatment either way because its the same company, just one little logo on the back of the case doesn't change the fact that great people will be handling the film.

I vote "YES". Keep up the great work Cliff, and the announcements! Lol :P
just happy to finally see ninja 3 out on dvd blueray. hope there are some good extras for this movie.

The TGG direct Amazon.com exclusives are all really well done. I have about 10 of them so far. Each film is given it's own dvd and the films are almost always OAR and 16:9. I have e-mailed TGG and Miracle Mile should be 16:9 OAR. I have it ordered and in the mail. I will confirm once it arrives. It is paired with Manhattan Project.

I recommend the Amazon exclusives. There are some good titles in their bunch and it is great to finally see them in widescreen and 16:9. They recently released two of my favorites Clifford and Larger Than Life in their 16:9 OAR's. The previous MGM dvd's were fullframe. TGG uses the newest master that MGM gives them. In many cases, MGM has new HD masters that they air on their MGM HD channel or on Netflix. These are usually the masters used.
Before you knock any of their releases, actually check one of them out.

Granted some of their earlier releases had some issues, but I for one was happy with what they released. I loved that I was able to get Rage of Honor and Revenge of the Ninja in 16:9 widescreen as well as F/X and F/X 2.

Also, I am a huge fan of their Fighting Heroes dvd set, While it is compressed more than I would like, it is great to get Run Silent Run Deep, Bridge at Remagen in 16:9 OAR. The previous dvd's were 4x3 widescreen.

Basically I'd rather these get released in some form properly than not at all. Scream/Shout can't release everything.

Thanks for the info.

Have you ever inquired whether they are considering BD releases for any of their licensed titles?

Does anyone know if TGG's release Theater of Blood in 16 x 9 anamorphic widescreen ?
I have Pit and the Pendulum and Tales of Terror and I am happy with both...
I wonder if TGG might do some HD titles soon

I just checked out the existing TGG DVD releases, and I noticed some of them were later put out on blu by MGM (Death Wish 2-4, Death Warrant, Double Impact, Lone Wolf McQuade, Missing in Action, The Delta Force, Throw Momma from the Train, etc), and even Shout Factory in one instance (Lifeforce).

TGG has released some other titles that seem BD-worthy--Once Bitten, Easy Money, American Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja, Rage of Honor, F/X, From a Whisper to a Scream, Blame it on Rio, Leviathan, Burnt Offerings, etc. I'm not sure if these are still with TGG, or are back with MGM. They recently (like last week) released a double feature with Night Game (1989) on it. That's another one I wouldn't mind seeing on BD.

+1. I posted about this earlier, why is Cold Prey 2 (A straight slasher/horror) not a Scream title but this is? Makes no sense.

Glad to see it coming out either way but still pretty strange.

Blame the people on Facebook, they were the ones who voted for Ninja III as a Scream release. Regarding Prey 2, Scream titles are all older films, so a 2008 title wouldn't fit.

Just out of curiosity, how many people voted? I'm wondering if Shout considers a handful of people voting on facebook an accurate yardstick with which to measure true popularity (or success). Now, if we're talking hundreds of people...

I know. That's apparently holding up my order for Phantasm II and From Beyond as well...

EDIT: Never mind my lament, I forgot that it's February, not March, which is when those two titles are released...

According to FB, they'll be adding some "new contemporary films" to their slate.
I think this means "Cold Prey 2" will possibly get the Scream Factory Treatment...
