Ommmgg speaking of rereleases... I'd die for a Collector's Edition of The Rage Carrie 2

Ps.. should've never been put in a double with the horrendous Carrie TV movie o.o

Thats exactly where that movie belonged. Both films are pretty mediocre so they deserved each other.

Silent Hill, so frustrating that a new release is using such an old scan.

Yeah, me too. What's the hold up with that one? It's Universal, isn't it? Don't they license out catalogue titles?

Cloak & Dagger is my #1 most wanted on Blu-ray at the moment...hoping either Shout or Kino in their next Universal deal. Im down to only 5 or so older titles that are must haves for me.

Last week, Collector's Edition of The Blob (1988), The Devil Rides Out and The Omen box set. Light month, but they have said they'll make up for it in November.

Thanks. Yikes, I didn’t realize that was for October. Was really expecting JESSICA in there.

I'd welcome a release of Coneheads. I'm always happy to see anything hit blu for the first time. Maybe not your kind of movie, but at least it's not a repackage of something that's still out there.

For starters get rid of the god awful steelbooks. One of the worst aspects of this era of home video has been their continued presence. If they must be utilized then make them an add-on purchase in addition to the standard release. Speaking of the packaging then, Blue Underground (and Arrow) have got it right. Thicker premium style of cases should have been a given. Higher Quality slips/chip board boxes should have been used along with the standard reversible art. CD's/Booklets/posters all should have been included when possible and these should have been presented as the definitive editions of the films they were meant to be. 4k scans, Original Audio + Remixed options, all previous Scream Factory extras, etc. When it warranted it I'd also have liked to have seen multiple transfers/cuts of the film included across multiple discs so that the previous editions could be sold if a person was so inclined.

I don't have a problem with Shout Factory putting out new editions, but I can't stand cash grabs, and everything about these latest re-issues have felt exactly like that when they could have been something much more special.

With all of that said, here's some films that I would consider...

-The Howling
-From Beyond
-Slumber Party Massacre (Box Set)
-Sleepaway Camp (Box Set)
-Pumpkinhead
Yeah, I haven't bothered with the 4K re-releases either, because other than the newer transfer, there usually is no difference. And in the days of Ultra HD, newer transfers on Blu-rays just aren't enough to justify double dipping. Also, I prefer to have the original artwork which unfortunately the steelbooks do not include.

I'm hoping that the Karloff "Isle of the Dead" comes back into play

Would anyone here be interested in a Scream Factory collector’s edition of PHANTOMS (1998)? Just asking for a friend

Good call. I never saw the movie, but did read the book. Is the movie any good? Unfortunately, I think it's with Miramax or Dimension or whoever owns all those now. If Shout could somehow make a deal there, we would see some good titles get releases like Existenz. Not to mention all the junk from Dimension Extreme. One of the big ones for me in that same realm would be Wolf Creek, which also never saw a blu release.
