I can't imagine anyone on this thread having a problem with a Blu-ray edition of "Matinee". Such an underrated Dante gem! I just checked my local Barnes & Noble and the new issue isn't up yet. I imagine by next week the earliest it will be.

No, I won't be there. I don't think anything will be released early ... But I'm not certain.

No worries, it wouldn't surprise me if "Terror Train" and "The Funhouse" end up appearing there since they would only be released early by a few days... Now, if "They Live" decided to be released at the event, I would 100% fully support you and Shout's decision to do that

Synapse is finally putting "Basket Case 3" out on October 9th but only on DVD. Odd choice to do that considering how long it's been anticipated from them. Maybe in the future?

Cliff, any chance of getting When A Stranger Calls (1979) from Sony/Columbia Tri-Star? A commentary with Fred Walton and any input from Charles Durning (he's 89) would be outstanding. I'd love to hear stories about Tony Beckley (Curt Duncan) too. He was terminally ill with cancer during filming and died on April 19, 1980 at the age of 52.

And even though they've been mentioned before I'd like to offer my support for
