Yes, there is. Value varies depending on the title and how long it’s been out of circulation.

I watched it. It looks way better than the previous Blu-ray. Does NOT look like a movie pushing 40.

I’m liking the Road Games and Dracula artwork. Definite purchases for me.

That was my first thought as well haha. Other than her Stretch Armstrong arms, the cover has a nice composition.

While the Dracula cover seems a bit awkward with it being so "in your face", it captures Frank Langella very well and the castle in the background looks cool.

Yikes 4 definite must buys in November (Dracula, Prophecy, Abominable Snowman and The Fan). My wallet is very glad I already imported 'Road Games' a few years ago, as I'm sure there will be a few more Novembers they haven't announced yet.

Does this mean Big Trouble in Little China will be December? Would love some more info about that release.

SF hasn’t announced all the titles for December release yet right?

Does SF still ship titles 2 weeks before release?

I'll wait to order from Amazon, free shipping.

I know it's not unprecedented but it's still going to be weird seeing the Paramount logo on Shout covers. Pretty exciting times.

Not officially. But, even once they stopped making that offer for pre-orders, I've still had a few titles arrive 1-2 weeks early from them.

At 4 titles, that should definitely hit Shout/Scream's threshold for free shipping as well. But, if you weren't wanting to pre-order that many, yeah, Amazon might be the way to go.

Yes, the SF shipping is free if the order is over 50 dollars. And, yes, they tend to arrive early. But it's not exact. I have received some things a whole month early, and some things just a day or two before street date. My "Vice Squad" blu ray arrives Friday, and my "Endless Love" BD arrives Saturday.

I'll be using amazon as well. It's just easier for me as SHOUT! charges at the time you place the order, not when the order is released. It's just too difficult for me to budget paying for something months before release.

I have the opposite problem. If Amazon ships something while I'm short of funds I might incur an overdraft fee. My bank hasn't been authorizing charges all that much if I don't have enough money but once in a while something will go through so it'll cost me $35 plus the cost of the item. I just wish these retailers would give us the option of paying upfront or upon shipment.

A choice would be a great compromise as we've demonstrated different people have different needs/wants!

Yes, indeed. And there's still quite a few Paramount titles that I'd love to see them get eventually.

I had fun with Pledge on my initial viewing and gave it a soft recommendation. I've heard/seen folks recommend both The Hallow and Bite though I haven't personally seen Bite yet and didn't find The Hallow to be all that great. If you haven't already, check the Recommend an indie horror movie thread in my signature if you are looking for modern films that may have gone under the radar. Lots of good stuff/discussion on many of those films. Page 1 has a HUGE list of stuff worth checking out.
