I love your TerrorVision treasures. Always good to hear others love for this film. A truly fun movie that deserves more attention.

AH! Yeah that is a shame...I am a fan of homages as much as anyone else but there definitely is a certain point where it goes beyond a homage to straight up plagiarism.

Since Scream Factory is Releasing "Ninja III" I wonder if they would consider also releasing "Gymkata"

You know something - I think it will happen...be it 2014 or later...this title will finally happen...It cant keep getting overlooked like this...
They may not have it now , but who says that they cant access it ? All it takes is a phone call or email to ask for more titles (at least at the beginning stages)
I really really hope they do get it and I feel like they will...

I noticed that too. They also said virtually the ame thing about Motel Hell, after Arrows big announcement.

dsman71, if Scream do eventually release Without Warning, I'm sure it will be thanks in part to your tireless efforts on its behalf! I have the uncompressed MGMHD broadcast, and it looks quite good. One of the few micro-budget sci-fi films I really enjoy, thanks in no small part to the cast, even if the alien itself is pretty unconvincing.

Has Burnt Offerings been shot down yet? I know someone had mentioned it previously, but it's not listed in the list of nays, so I'm holding out hope.

The DVD is almost unbearable to watch (and the sound is just as wretched), but the HD print they aired on TCM a while back was a significant improvement. The only reason I still have that disc is for the commentary; Dan Curtis is such a nasty little man and Karen Black...well, she's certainly Karen Black. Any commentary with her is a hoot and a half.

Is there no dedicated thread for From Beyond?

Blu-ray.com review

I would have given the film a slightly higher rating (certainly 3.5).

Barabara Compton impresses as the femme fatale who doesn't master the "highly educated" aspects of the character
Whattadya mean? She wears a pair of glasses in a couple of scenes, what else does a female character need to do to show her intellectual fortitude?

Are there any screen-shot comparisons with the UK disc out there? I would assume the two releases would be identical.

Did you know this is the film that inspired Predator ? Not only that, but the actor who played Predator, also played the Outer Limits looking alien in Without Warning
That man is the late great Kevin Peter Hall

Silver Bullet would likely come from Olive.

And Gymkata is Warner Bros.

If it wasn't for Frightener's artwork postings I would forget about Shout's other upcoming titles. I completely forgot about INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN. The fact that it's not getting any love (at least not lately) is not helping any. X-Ray and Godsend aren't too far behind in the "forgotten stuff" category. Wish we had more info on the entire slate.

Watched my Prison blu the other day. It was a pretty good flick.

The PQ was pretty good. The 5.1 track was pretty bad sounding, the center channel was to low, something was off. the 2.0 track was much better.
