I'm sorry, but you're telling someone that they can't return a product to the store because you don't like it? Blowitouttahere! confirmed to me that they oversold Carrie / The Rage: Carrie 2. Just ordered a different copy for $22. Hopefully it's not some f*ck up and I actually get it this time (the MovieMars online store is sold out, and this listing was from one of their marketplace accounts).

This is one of my biggest wants out of the whole OOP lot so I really hope I end up getting it.

I just got Swamp Thing from Amazon in the mail yesterday and I was wondering if the cover art is slightly blurry for anyone else's, it's brand new and sealed but it's not razor sharp like I'm used to seeing. And it's not like I bought it from one of the third-party sellers either

Hey does anyone have the xray/ schizoid bluray... just wanted to know if it really worth getting.. or if it's a complete waste of money and time..

Amazon's standards have dropped precipitously. I ordered The Sentinel and From Beyond a few weeks back and the latter showed up unsealed, no seal, like I would just gladly except a used copy after paying for a new one

People aren't snapping these up because they're good movies - they're rushing to grab them because they're going OOP. Once they're OOP, they can fetch big bucks on ebay. Kinda sucks for those who are true fans and won't be able to find a copy after they become scarce. You snooze you lose I guess.

No, the art on my copy is pretty clean and clear. On that same note, I just got A League of Their Own from Walmart, and the back cover is very blurry. And I've heard there's some fakes out there...

Do you have a picture you can upload??

I'm to busy to be an eBay scalper but I'd look at it as a positive that there will be a secondary market for those that come looking for these titles after they've gone OOP.

I enjoyed both xray and schizoid but I wouldn't consider either "good" films. Excellent B-films though.

I wouldn't generalize. I've wanted some of these titles for a year or so but other movies took precedence during payday. I just purchased Howling 2, Vampire's Kiss double, Blacula double, and Once Bitten double before I would have to pay those exorbitant prices on ebay...

And honestly, I just found Scream Factory about three Halloweens ago. I didn't know they existed before I found their Halloween 3 in a record shop in Baltimore. So I'm a little behind all the SF collectors unfortunately.

Some definitely are buying just to eventually flip them, but not everyone. For me, I'm only interested in titles I've wanted regardless of print status, which is just a couple. But I feel like everyone is complaining one way or the other like this isn't ALWAYS what happens when a title goes OOP. I mean, look at Death Becomes Her. That didn't really go out of print, but there was a mad rush to get it to where it was sold out everywhere.

There is a lot of misplaced complaining in this thread. Let's just be helpful and hope every actual collector gets the titles they want, yeah? Shouldn't be difficult.

I attempted taking pictures of it but my camera isn't making it apparent that it's blurry. It's like if someone took a low resolution scan of it and resized it. The MGM logo at the bottom is probably the most noticeably blurry item since the Metro-Goldwyn Mayer text is almost unreadable.

Hate to say it but yours does look like a resized image. My copy is about S clear as possible. I'll upload from a computer later to compare...
